Bought this for someone as a Christmas gift but haven't got a chance to use it as weather has been bad. First impressions are very good. Installation took a while but not very complicated. The whole smoker is actually pretty heavy and can tell the overall quality is pretty good. It can be used as a grill too, which is really nice as it takes up much less space than our old grill. The smoker grill combo is too small. You might could put a few pork chops on it but nothing of any size. When I sent it back, I was refunded $62. Less than half the price I paid for it. Apparently this company does not stand behind their products so I would never order anything from these people again. Also, the lead wouldn’t fit on correctly and there was a dent in the side. ... show more

It took me about two hours to put this grill together. This vertical grill is not a bad buy. You can cook lots of diff things in this grill in one go. This grill performed very well and still had a good taste. I have to learn how to control the temp and get used to when to open vents and control the temperature. I always wanted to get a smoker but didn’t want to spend too much since we already have a regular BBQ grill but this one is a great addition to our BBQ game. Putting together is easy and all tools are included. I used charcoal and wine barrel smoke chips and the brisket turned out great. Temp control was easy - 3 air vents at the bottom and an outlet vent on to; plus a built-in thermometer. Clean up is easy and I got a universal smoker cover for cover.
