Fits my pioneer perfectly. People have said that this need to be cut to fit a double din and somehow it’s not a good fit. That is incorrect. This besel fits the first edge of the faceplate for the double din. The Whole stereo is NOT supposed to fit in it. A bit of plastic trimming and boom! Bad ass fit!

After looking at a few different options I choose to give this one a try. It does involve modifying your dash, which was simple. The Fitment was nice, but as others have stated the radio does sit inward a bit. I Didn't like this look. So after some cutting with a dremal with a plastic blade and a bit of filling on the plastic skirt, I managed to get the double din to sit in nicely. It is now flush and looks pretty good. Over all I'd recommend this kit, although it takes some tinkering to make it perfect. The unit I installed was a boss 6.2 BV9384NV

Follow manual - My review is informational only! Dash has the standard radio, with the half moons I own a 2006 dodge ram 2500, Diesel. These trucks don't have your typical dash kits. it made things confusing when trying to figure out what one to get! I only bought this one as another review on this had a picture along with helpful information. This kit does work fine however you need to note a few things. Cutting of the factory panel is required. If you have a dremel or some type of cutting disk where you can control it, this is cake! Basically you take your factory panel, cut the piece that divides the stock radio and the storage compartment. Once that is done, cut off 1/8th inch on both sides on the unit(where the half moons are). This is all stated in the manual as well. Then the face-plate snaps in. You want to take your time and measure to make a perfect cut. Cut off to much then you just costed yourself some money, the replacement panels are pricey. Another note I have is the stock radio does not have a switched source! I ran into this issue, got everything wired up and the radio would not turn on. Rewired, still nothing. Thanks to a Amazon Review on another product this was mentioned! I tapped into the cigarette lighter, to get the 12v switched source. Once this was done, radio turned on. I have a picture attached. Again, take your time and measure. The right tools will make this easy, the wrong tool will more than likely destroy the dash panel. Remember, its plastic!

Great solution to expensive alternative options. Let's be honest, you've got more money than sense if you spend upwards of 200$ on a factory "double din" or "nav" spaced center dash cover just to swap a single din to a double sized stereo. This part looks great, and is a simple install. If you have a dremel it's even faster. I installed this in less than an hour and even popped it all in place without wiring, as a dry run to see if it all lined up properly. Any reviews stating they "broke pieces" or "it looks terrible and doesn't line up" probably didn't do it right and caused the issues themselves. Easy. And clean looking. Done. A SLIGHT space may be left on top/bottom depending on what stereo you install but it's hardly noticeable. And if it is, a small piece of abs sheet will slide in and hide it if you're a perfectionist or can see any lighting/etc showing through. I'm not going to even bother. It looks great as is with my pioneer radio

Fits well. I was expecting to get a template with the kit to trim the bezel but it did not come with one. You have to trim about an 1/8 inch off the sides of the factory radio opening as well as removing the divider between the radio and storage pocket. Snapped in well. It’s not the same texture as the factory bezel which isn’t a big deal but something to note.
