This cable does as stated, but the only issue i had with this cable was that 1. it doesn't come with instructions 2. trying to figure out where the pesky blue cable goes?! lol Seller needs to put in instructions! By the way blue cable goes from "RED ACC" wire form head unit in order to get clear radio reception.. Do not connet to blue cable "remote" because reception still sucks! Also do not ground blue cable either... worst radio reception ever!!! Found out info from you tube! 12 year old explained it to me better than the guys at Crutchfield!!!! would reccommend tho.. ... show more

Works fine to install an aftermarket radio in my 2010 Nissan Versa S. Plugs right in to the existing antenna adapter to give me a standard antenna plug. However, you CANNOT skip the blue wire. You must attach it to your head unit on either the blue/white remote turn on lead or the blue accessory lead. Without doing that, your reception will be terrible (but will work) and may make you think it's your radio or speakers. No idea how it fixes it, but it seems to be a common issue with the Nissan antennas/adapters. Coupled with the new HU, it makes a huge improvement in existing reception over the old HU. ... show more
