I bought this so I could upgrade the radio in my C5 to a double din. It fits great and looks like a factory bezel without having to paint. I couldn't be happier with it. It was easy to install. For the money it was well worth it.

Purchased this product with alittle built in disappoint.ment Saw photos some years ago of this kit showing some noticeable gaps here and there and finish complaints. But thought i would give it a shot and live with some "non perfect" issues. Had a paint guy waiting, if the finish was off too far. Im pretty picky. Man, i was shocked. They must have addressed the issues because mine is flawless. No gaps and i would give the finish match about an 8 of 10. It looks factory now. Paired it with a 7" pioneer 4200 nex head unit, which 7" seems ideal for the hole. Once again, extremely happy with it. Also, the relocation template for the heater controls was spot on. I had some doubts buying this based on some of the other reviews I saw but I bought it anyways and I couldn’t be happier. The finish is really nice and everything fit like it’s supposed to. There are some small gaps but not much more than there already was. This is a huge upgrade for any C5 owner and I highly recommend this product. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I think the price could be lower, it is still worth the money though. ... show more

For the money if you have a C5 corvette you're not going to find a cheaper option for your radio bezel that will fit a double din in it. Fitment is very good, I think the finish looks good but it doesn't match stock which is the knock on this unit versus going with vettenuts 400$ competitor. For 200$ difference I'm good with the finish. My sony AX200 unit fits like a glove with no gaps around the bezel. Side note to be aware of, there is a little bit of work such as drill out 8 rivets for the metal bracket base under the stock stereo and climate control to allow relocation of the climate control and fitment of the double din. The steps required are spelled out in the included directions, pick up a right angle drill if you don't have one to drill out the rivets. ... show more

    • Don't believe the updates. That could be wrong, especially if they previously say OUT FOR DELIVERY.
Item is perfect. The only complaint is Amazon listed it out for delivery Friday am. Friday pm they listed it delivery on 25th now. Today Saturday it was delivered. Product is good as OE. Delivery was a day late but still acceptable. Updates needs work. Im sure a lot of sales are canceled because of this type updates. However im happy now I can reassemble my dash and drive my Vette. ... show more

    • It fit and always my C5 vette to take double din modern stereo!
It is slightly different black plastic than OEM, but it fit great. Allows for a double din stereo. I took this to an installer and with buying the new Kenwood from them, they installed it. Saved series money for the same one they were to buy. I love it.

    • Update your C5
Just purchased a C5 Z06. Great car for the value, but it needs some help. The interior is terribly dated. New Corbeau seats, airbag delete Momo steering wheel, and this double din kit with a brand new model of Pioneer radio is the icing on the cake. This kit fits well and changes the dated interior into a new modern car. It moves the ugly AC unit lower and the radio just looks beautiful in the car. The old single din aftermarket radio in a din and a half space surrounded by a plastic frame just added to the ugliness of the interior. It had to go. This double din kit requires you to tweek the fit to get it perfect, but someone made a great YouTube video that shows the fitment produce to get it right. ... show more

    • Metra DP-3021B C5 Corvette Double Din Radio Bezel.
Back in May of this year 2020 I finally installed my Metra Double Din Bezel in my C5 Corvette that I purchased on Amazon. It wasn't a easy job but if you have any mechanical ability and know some about electronics like soldering wires to do the job right you should be able to handle it. You need to know how to read also and understand what you read no matter if you have to read it more then once. I Installed a New Kenwood 6.95" Double Din Receiver that I purchased on Amazon and the Electrical Interface harness required so the new Radio Receiver can communicate with the Cars Computer. Over all I am satisfied. The Bezel is nicely made and looks pretty close to what the original looks like but not exact. The texture is somewhat different as far as the finished on the Metra Bezel is concerned but looks good to me. Then you have to take into account that Metra did away with the flap that covers the cigarette lighter area and the flap for the cup holder. Being the Double Din Radio's are wider then the stock radio they had to make that area in the bezel larger and what they have you do is drop down the HVAC controls in order to accomplish this type of change over. That eliminated the Cigarette lighter Flap so you can now see the cigarette lighter where it was hidden before and to the right of that they eliminated the ash tray and gave you a area to store your cell phone or something else in. What I couldn't understand is why the eliminated the flap over the cup holder. I think they could of easily did the same as the factory did with the original bezel. I would of liked that better but I could live with what I have. ... show more
