The best that there is, hands down, pricey but most things that are the very best are, you get what you pay for. I have had an escort Radar detector since I began driving, and just recently added the jammers, ( I’m 52) because my dad had a escort radar detector since I can remember, one might assume that the reason for having something like this would be because there was a need to break the law, that is far from being right, me having this stuck to my windshield makes me aware, and actually prevents me from driving fast, just because it’s there, and if I am in a hurry then I’m very confident in it capabilities, I have also got a regular 360, I loaned it to a friend, he told me that he didn’t think it was working because I never heard it go off, I told him that there wasn’t a need for it to go off and that when there is a reason it will let you know, he could not beleive it, if these radar detectors make a noise, you can about bet you that it’s not a failed alarm, if there is something that sets it off in the same spot 3 times it remembers it and doesn’t go off anymore. I will always have a escort radar detector. I wish that they made something that was a bit more discreet than a big box hanging in your windshield, mainly because people see it there and before you know it you’ve got a line of cars following close behind, that’s my only complaint. Bought this product in hopes it will help with the same issue all of us here are having. Was well invested in the market and found this one is the “best of the best” top dog if you will so I obviously had a lot of faith in it. I wasn’t too familiar with the setting setup so i left it default for a while and noticed it missed a few. Tested various different settings I found online (not much info due to the price) so I basically just turned them all on at one point of just sheer frustration. Literally nothing I did made the product any better all it did was have so many false alerts while they all drove passed me or literally were right next to me at a stop and this thing did not go off at all. I don't no what's the complaints is about this unit...I took it for a drive an it work under ka...ban...when a police pass by...I made it back home an it ask me do I won't update...it ask me 3 time Different? Days an I click yes it beeps when it blocks 🚫 out false signals...I have the camera I use the camera that come with it on my escort EX..detector an it work just fine...only down side it can't do is pickup on the radar gun call..LIDAR RADER...no Rader detecter out there can pick up on those guns the police use...it's,the kind when the police 🚔 have to park an put the radar gun to there eye an can hit you about 1 mile away before you can get to them an when you do see them they already got you ..when u do see them your detacter will not warn you ..because the light that hit your car 🚗 that come from the Rader is not Detectable, But the escort 360c have a Feature on it that you can Select call Station police..I haven't tried it but maybe it will work .. ... show more

Overall highly recommend this investment! It was pretty easy to set up however I wish the smart cable was longer. The detector over all does and amazing Job and the Dash camera is perfect

Works well. More expensive than a lot of other detectors, but definitely worth it. Much less false alarms , decent range , mapping software letting you know where others have seen traps. Great system all in all.

Update 12/31/22 - Escort has finally released a new firmware update for this unit, well over a year later, it improved the ramp up but, sadly, made the reactivity and delay to radar guns even worse overall, even though their release notes say otherwise. It seems that the hardware they designed this unit with is just not capable of processing information at a reasonable rate. When you compare it to other units such as the Uniden R8 or the Valentine Gen 2, well there really is no comparison as they alert instantly and have great ramp up. I was really hoping Escort would release an amazing update to bring this unit up to a level to compete with the others on the market but that did not happen. Users have been waiting almost 2 years for an update to improve these items and, well, I would not hold my breath for any magic in future updates based on these results. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This unit has great sensitivity, however it has the slowest reactivity of any of the top radar detectors on the market today. Escort has released a number of firmware update for this unit, however have not been able to address the reactivity problem with this unit. Their 6 year old Max 360 & 360c units both absolutely blow this unit out of the water in terms of reactivity which is essential when you live in an area that has a lot of hills, turns, and/or trees. The ramp up is a bit on the aggressive side, however that is something that is easily fixed with an update, however to me it is not that big of a concern. IMO, this unit does not offer the performance for the price. ... show more
