used this on my ram to install an avic nav, fit is perfect. If you are going to install a double din you will have to cut the metal plate the factory radio goes into. I use a snip and it was able to cut the metal. My ram had the 5.0 radio, so if you have the same radio you should set your settings before removing the radio because you cant access them through an aftermarket radio. you can still access the settings in the speedo but nothing else works. The usb port on the dash will not work anymore. I tried different connectors but I could not get the usb to work. if you have the factory backup camera that still works including the guide lines moving when you turn the steering. great kit for 3.0 and 5.0 rams looking to put in an aftermarket radio. you will need a SiriusXM SXV200v1 Connect Vehicle Tuner for SiriusXM-Ready Car Stereo Receivers in order to keep Sirius radio, but be warned if you are still in your 1 year trial the turner will not work because it has its own radio ID and Sirius will not allow you to add the Sirius tuner to your trial subscription. if you are past the 1 year trial and paying for Sirius u will be able to add the SXV200 tuner to your paid subscription for a fee. ... show more

It works goood but Not sure if its this wiring hardness or radio but every time i start my truck my radio goes back to FM radio.

Used this to install my aftermarket BOSS nav stereo (2din ) iny 2014 Ram 1500. Used the instructions to get the wires connected to unit's harness. Pay attention the video disabling parking brake input. Also, don't let the B+ and ACC wires confuse you. Battery to keep power constantly like remembering radio stations and such. ACC to powerup the radio when the key is on. (ACC is the logic the vehicle falls back to after the engine starts and the same as listen to the tunes with the engine off but the radio on. ... show more

    • Dos not fit a 2022 ram 1500
In the discription for this item it say 2014 up indicates that it would fit a 2022 it does not . The bezel works good but the interface and swc do not work . Getting it together to ship back . Please fix the discription of this item .
