It's a great durable vest. I bought black and tan/khaki. I like both but the black vest isn't black it's like a charcoal gray which I am not too happy about but that's a personal preference. It fits well but the hood is a bit large once again a personal preference, it might be right for someone else. It's a good extra layer in the cold and not overly hot in mild temperatures. Man! I keep buying vest's like this and keep getting decent enough vests, but the sizing is always off. Order a XL and get something that fits like a medium, order 2X and it fits like a Large. I got tired of being disappointed in the sizes and just started ordering 2 or 3X in everything! Unfortunately this is the one time that buying method actually didn't pay off lol this vest is completely true to size! I ordered a 3X and it is huge! Excellent quality, and even know it's gigantic it looks great! It's got just enough insulation to help keep you warm in the cold, but not to much to burn you out when it's not so cold out. Best is awesome look but I order 2 times one L which is my regular size and then lx and still too small. So if you are a regular L you may want to get a 2xL .
