Upgraded my head unit in my old Silverado and used this patch cable to ease installation. Wiring code on the package matches to your head units wiring just match the speaker wires power wire etc and no cutting wires! I soldered my connections coupled with heat shrink tubing so I should never have an issue with a bad connection.
