I bought this handheld metal detector and it works much better than I expected for the price. It's very easy to use, lightweight, and comfortable to carry with the included holster and lanyard. The sensitivity is good enough to detect coins, jewelry, and small metallic objects, and it really helps pinpoint targets after using a larger metal detector. The waterproof feature is also a big plus-I've used it in wet soil without any problems. The 9V battery lasts a decent amount of time, although I recommend carrying a spare just in case. Overall, it's a reliable and affordable tool for kids, beginners, or hobbyists who want to make treasure hunting easier and more fun

This item I was hesitant because of the low price compared to others that were much higher but I said let’s try it. It works perfectly. This didn't work. The light would light up but no sound, no vibration, no detection. I tried a brand new battery still nothing. UPDATE: Dmyond reached out and investigated the issue. They were kind enough to send me a new pinpointer. The replacement works awesome! Great customer service Dmyond!

This thing works! Very accurate and easy to use. Have used this thing for a few months and haven't had to replace the battery which is amazing! It's a good size and it's not too sensitive but definitely works when metal is nearby. Super fun! And easy to use.

Very fragile. After dropping it once on a soft lawn from 2 ft or so, it stopped working. No visible damage, just wouldn't stop buzzing. Update. Even though I haven't asked for a refund, seller contacted me and issued full refund. A + for customer service. Might reconsider pinpointer after quality control improvements.

I have another more-expensive pinpointer, and this one outperforms the other one. The more expensive unit only signals when it's physically touching metal. This unit is so sensitive, it detects metal even below the surface of the ground. The only thing it lacks is the LCD screen, and variable Sound/Vibration settings of the other one. But I'll take the higher sensitivity over bells and whistles. The next one I purchase will be another one of this model.
