I've only gotten to use it a few times but it seems to work exactly as it says that it would. The pinpoint button is actually pretty cool. Using it normally you can find stuff and then you hit the pinpoint button and it will get louder or quieter depending on how close you are to the item and it helps you find the exact spot. I really like that it comes with the headphones because they are useful when you are using it in noisy area like the beach. You set the sensitivity level so you could find everything or certain things like coins and Jewelry. I like that it's waterproof because I can use it at the beach. But it seems pretty sturdy too I don't think it will break easily as long as you don't drop it.

Honestly, I have a very expensive detector that keeps breaking on me and I bought this as a side one. For 80$ it has some pretty good features. It's for a beginner, but I'm getting too old to do long, deep digs. I do lots of surface coins ( on tot lots). It comes with accessories and batteries. Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with this. Don't expect professional quality, but you'll find coins and jewelery. I didn't get a Manuel though. Can you guys send me a manuel??,
