First comes the unboxing and assembly. Even though it was my first time assembling one of these, it was easy to do with the included instructions. After I assembled it, I tried it out in the house and now know where every nail in the house is. It's very sensitive and works very well. There's adjustments for types of metals it will detect and depth it will detect it at. It also comes with a convenient carrying case that everything fits in. The headphones are kind of low quality, but if you have a good set, you can use them instead.

Decent metal detector, great for the beginner or someone who wants to just go to the beach or woods to find something valuable, comes with everything you need to get started, seems to work when I tested it on metal, quality is decent, good value for the money

If you are just starting out and/or wanting to try out metal detecting, this isn't a bad option. Comparing it to my Nokta, this lacks a lot of features; however, that's not a a fair comparison. Overall, it does a pretty decent job (relatively speaking) of differentiating metals and giving depths. If you're a more experienced detectorist, then I'd only get this to have as a spare to let friends try out metal detecting.

Tested in the back yard and it was able to distinguish tin roofing nails in the ground nickels and dimes. The depth gauge is pretty accurate and the coil takes a little practice to really zone in on the exact spot the item you found is located. Used for over an hour and the batteries still have a good charge and seem like they will last a good while. Putting the detector together was easy and I didn't even look at the assembly instructions. Pretty intuitive to put together. The carrying/storage case is good enough although I wouldn't really call it high quality, but it's just a bag, so no big deal. Overall, very pleased.

With everything you need to get started, including batteries, this is a fun hobbyist metal detector that should work well in a variety of environments. Set up is straightforward, and the controls are intuitive. I appreciate the multitude of adjustments, especially the ability to extend the handle for my height. The device is comfortable to carry around, and I was finding a variety of metal deposits around my yard on my first use. I'm sure you can pay more for a more robust setup, but this is a great tool for an aspiring collector.

The media could not be loaded. Ford disclosure, I have never used a metal detector personally in my life. I wanted this for some camping expeditions to kill a little time and have a little fun. After reading the instructions, which were good instructions in English, there were lots of settings and options you could do on this detector. You can notch out certain types of materials. For me specifically, I am more interested in gold. It does not have an actual gold setting, but it does say what range that gold would be found in. When I did my own personal test, I found some inconsistencies with detecting gold. In the video it did quite well when I put down a couple of solid gold 14 carat rings. I tested it later on using the same settings, but maybe only 15 minutes apart and it detected one ring but not the other. That tells me there probably is not the highest quality searchcoil. For a simple or basic adventure, and having some fun, you can’t beat it. Metal detecting is somewhat of an art form and I’m sure that even with this detector you could dial it in to your specificity.
