My 9 yr old son and I love this metal detector! It's light and easy enough to use for my son. We started by sweeping our backyard and we found tons of items right in our own backyard! He found some old metal toy cars that were buried and forgotten many years ago. We found all kinds of other things like an arrow, bicycle handlebars, and a horseshoe. We also use it on the beach and find so many things that people left behind. The mystery and adventure of searching and finding buried items is awesome and we love it. And this metal detector is perfect for us. It's extremely easy to use with it's big, bright display and it's intuitive controls and readout. I really like how it discriminates between different types of metals and even lets you know the approximate depth. I highly recommend this metal detector.

Unit was delivered quickly. easy to put together. Purchased for our Florida trip with our 4 and 6 year old grandkids. The boys learned to operate it quickly and found coins various trash items and a bracelet, we also buried a treasure box in the sand for them which they found after a few hours of fun. we also got a new roof, used the metal detector to find the nails they missed. I am very pleased with the purchase and also the price, I highly recommend this product.

The metal detector arrived undamaged and the parts were complete. Assembly took about 10 minutes as you have to reference the manual to get everything right. The whole unit is very light. The headphone was useful and detection was very good. It emitted different tones to differentiate the kinds of metals it was sensing. We use it to look for nails, screws and metallic debris where our horses stand/sleep and have found really scary looking things that could injure them. Saved me $$$$$ in vet bills and happy that the horses were spared any injury and suffering. Highly recommended!

I have always wanted a metal detector, my wife and I were taking a road trip to the beach so she suggested we buy one. We used it on the beach in the mornings, I would carry it and search for things, when we would come across something, my wife would dig it up with shovel that was provided. Once I (you) learn the sounds and the prompts on the screen it works like a charm. I do a lot of rock picking, so it is very handy to have in the back of the truck, I set a visual grid that I want to pick and then I run the detector of the grid. It has paid for itself multiple times.
