  • Incredible value and super handy functionality
Size: HomeKit Style: HomeKit Power Strip Color: White
When you consider how much individual smart plugs can cost, you quickly realize that this power strip can be an incredible value. If you have several AC or USB devices near enough to one another to plug into the same outlet that you want to control with smart plugs, then this is by far the best way to do it. To be clear: each AC outlet (4 in all) can be controlled independently of one another. When I set this up in Apple Home, it activated pre-grouped as a single device. Go into the device settings, and you can easily un-group any or all of the plugs for individual control. Note: the USB ports can be controlled independently of the AC outlets, but not from each other. All the USB ports turn on/off as one. I don't personally use them, but something to be aware of. ... show more

  • Nice long cord!
Size: HomeKit Style: 3 Smart Outlets Color: White
This is a really good value item. I really appreciate how long the cord is. The indicator lights are nice and it provides a great way to control devices like displays or in my case audio peripherals, where you would sometimes want to turn them all on at once, and sometimes individually. I'm using it for an audio interface, stereo amplifier, and my computer display (please pardon my horrible rats' nest of cables). In the USB I have a few chargers for different small items plugged in, like the iPod pictured, as well as an older hard drive that needs 5v USB power, so this is a great solution to save a jack on my USB hub. Yay: Love being able to control individual outlets with HomeKit. Hopefully being able to schedule powering up and down, and activating certain outlets at certain times, will save me money! 4 USB ports is useful too; it frees up some outlets I had been using for charging devices. LED lights are very nice and bright Nice long cord Meross app is very easy to use. I like that they have a widget, but it would be even better if the widget could be put on the home screen now in iOS 14! Hopefully that update comes soon. Gripes: I wish the outlets were slightly farther apart, because a lot of my peripherals have big honkin power adaptors. I got around the problem with a ground lift adaptor on the middle one, but it's a bit janky looking. For some reason HomeKit does not allow you to power the whole unit on and off the way that the Meross app does. You can only toggle individual outlets. Not a huge deal because you can just add the outlets to whatever scenes you like, but seems strange to me. ... show more

  • Super easy and fast setup, good quality, works with Home Kit, Google and Alexa
Size: HomeKit Style: 3 Smart Outlets Color: White
First off I have several other Meross smart home products and I have been very pleased with all of them and this power strip is no exception. The over feel and quality of this strip is better than your average power strip and feels like a quality product. It was super simple to setup as always, each plug is individually assignable and the USB bank can be controlled as group, also the entire group can be turned off/on altogether. I love how each one of the three outlets is transformer spaced so it will work perfectly for my needs. I am currently using this control the desk lamp and RGB lighting on my gaming desk setup. This could be used for many other things and indoor Christmas light displays was my first thought for other uses. I had no issues integrating it with Apple Homekit and Google assistant, I do not have an Alexa device currently setup so I could not test it with Alexa. For me this is a no brainer device and solved an issue I've had for a while with not having enough transformer spaced outlets and always forgetting to shut off my desk lamp. I would highly recommend this to anyone and I will continue to purchase smart home products from Meross in the future. ... show more

  • Excellent Wi-Fi HomeKit enabled power strip with setup issues if you have 5GHz Wi-Fi
Size: HomeKit Style: 3 Smart Outlets Color: White
This Wi-Fi HomeKit enabled power strip is great once you get it connected to your network... I've been using it for a few months now mainly to control some indoor LED Christmas lights and it worked amazing. Great and responsive HomeKit integration. My only complaint is that if you have 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless networks with the same SSID you will most likely have trouble getting this power strip to connect to your Wi-Fi since it will try to hit the 5GHz network and fail (via the iOS app setup) since the power strip only has a 2.4GHz radio. I had to turn the power down on my 5GHz radios so that the power strip (and iPhone used for setup) could only see the 2.4GHz network to do the configuration. Then I could restore the radio power on my 5GHz network after the setup was complete. Would have been nice for this power strip to also have a 5GHz Wi-Fi radio as well to simplify setup as well as future proof when 2.4GHz Wi-Fi access points start to fade away. ... show more

  • Excellent product.
Size: HomeKit Style: 3 Smart Outlets Color: White
I had a Biopod paludarium which has timers for everything and the main motherboard died on it so I had to get something quickly to replace it before my frogs died because they need a specific environment to survive. I had never set any other wifi timer device up before but found this to be kind of easy once you get the hang of it. I also have Apple home kit so I set it up with that but it doesn't allow for programing intricate timers for on off use every hour so I used the Meross ap to set the scenes and it's flawless once you figure out how to do it. I have a fan and mister that goes on and off different times of the day all day and night long and lights that go on and off once a day and night and it all works. I watch some videos to learn how to set it up which helped. The only 2 things I don't like is that the 3 usb ports only have one setting so you have to use 3 things with the same timing. Also, to note, if you move and change your wifi name, it looses all the settings and you have to reprogram the entire thing from start. But All in all it's an excellent product. ... show more

  • Apple HomeKit support is broken
Size: HomeKit Style: HomeKit Power Strip Color: White
Should have listened to the negative reviews on connectivity. Meross pushed an Apple HomeKit firmware update and nearly all my Meross devices have been useless while they struggle to download the update. Losing connectivity and use of the devices for weeks while this happens. Many worked fine for years before this update. ... show more
