    • Take your time, and do it right. you will be pleased.
This is a great bed, and looks sleek in it's closed position. Here are some observations. Give yourself plenty of room, particularly at least the equal amount floor space to assemble both halves. Have a lot of patience. dont rush. follow instructions step by step. get organized. Lay out all the wood parts in another room, and separate all the hardware. As noted in a few other reviews, the step to install the handles need happen later in the assembly, preferably when the bed frame/door portion is completed, before you put in the cross wood pieces that lay under the mattress. you need this assembly to be flat for all the steps to be completed. The handles get in the way of this. the cam lock nuts should not go all the way into the holes. in fact, the holes are probably too deep. When inserting a piece with the adjoining pin, the pin may not clear the insert of the cam nut. creating a problem joining pieces together. The cam nut face should be flush . You can do this alone but a second person for final assembly is a good thing. ... show more
