This is a great bed, and looks sleek in it's closed position. Here are some observations. Give yourself plenty of room, particularly at least the equal amount floor space to assemble both halves. Have a lot of patience. dont rush. follow instructions step by step. get organized. Lay out all the wood parts in another room, and separate all the hardware. As noted in a few other reviews, the step to install the handles need happen later in the assembly, preferably when the bed frame/door portion is completed, before you put in the cross wood pieces that lay under the mattress. you need this assembly to be flat for all the steps to be completed. The handles get in the way of this. the cam lock nuts should not go all the way into the holes. in fact, the holes are probably too deep. When inserting a piece with the adjoining pin, the pin may not clear the insert of the cam nut. creating a problem joining pieces together. The cam nut face should be flush . You can do this alone but a second person for final assembly is a good thing.

The bed quality is good and easy to assemble, just the leg support is flimsy and short which often close unintentionally. My recommendation is to have the ability to lock the support leg on the down position so it does not slip.

Preparation is the key to this build. Organize, organize, organize before you begin. Three boxes equals a lot of parts. We installed the bed in an upper bedroom so we pre-built a lot of the pieces and carried them up as opposed to building everything in the bedroom. We added extra wall brackets for extra support and stability. It was hubby and I building. We are on our 60's. We took 2 days. All in all, this is a very sturdy piece of furniture. It opens and closes very smoothly. I did misread one step and put the pull handles on the wrong end of the front piece. We just added extra handles and they work fine. 4 stars because the instructions are printed pretty small and a couple were confusing. As others have mentioned, the support legs become very loose very quickly. Going to have to get different bolts or something. Also, there are no color matched stickers to cover the bolt heads. I got some white ones, not a perfect match, but they'll do. The instructions are a bit hard to decipher, but we did find the videos very helpful when we couldn't quite follow the diagrams. If you want to maximize the space you have, this might just be what you need. (Mattress in photo is temp prior to purchase of a queen.)

Now the product itself is great but the materials..... well let's talk about it. For wall screws if you don't have wood studs or concrete wall then will recommend for you to get some toggle bolts from Home Depot, now for the legs get better Chicago/Binding Screws but do make sure the fit the legs and that will make it studier, and lastly the instructions if there was a place to put a 0 on will be the instructions very confusing the barcode does not work and it just show you pix and someone like me that can't see well least let us know what to do, I messed up part of the bed but made something that in Mexico we call it in Spanish una Mexicanada. But over all great product.
