This is a nice bed overall, but my 11 year old jumped on it and already broke a slat, I would suggest getting some 1x4's and just setting them on the bed to help with it (kids will be kids). The drawers are set on the ground and sometimes go under the bed, which is annoying, as there is no rollers or slats. The set gives you a Allen wrench to assemble these, after a month we've had to retighten them (I would suggest using a drill to make sure they are not just hand tightened). This was a great purchase, it's sturdy with a simple look. Gets the job done but was a little difficult to assemble. I was easily able to install the frame itself but the difficulty started when I had to manually screw in all the slates. I recently got this for my 14 year old. For the price it’s a good value, not amazing but I have no regrets. Being realistic I knew this wouldn’t be made of top notch wood and I was correct. However I also have realistic expectations and am hoping this lasts for 4 years to get my son through high school. The weight limit is 250 so make sure that’s appropriate for your needs. My son is 170 but we also have a 40 lb pooch who sneaks in bed at night. I put this together myself and it’s definitely in the easier side of assembly. The bed was ideal for the space availability and the price was just right. The plus was the 2 drawers that it comes with especially not attracted and it came with wheels. The material that it's made with isn't the greatest but it serves it's purpose.

Help I'm missing 1 peice in order to build the trundle. The manufacturer will not answer their phone or respond to my emails. Amazon will only return or exchange but I do not have the man power or vehicle to take it to the nearest amazon drop off.
