I bought these early in the year for my Halloween display. I bought this wattage because I was afraid the smaller ones would not be bright enough for my 12 ft decorations. I got them in and immediately tried them out. I was amazed by how bright they are! They are almost too bright! But that can be altered so I think made the right choice. Since I bought these in June, I set three of them outside to light up the front in red white and blue. They look phenomenal. Will use these for every season to light the front of my house. My only wish is that you could create your own program. For example for Mardi Gras, I would love to pick the colors I want to cycle. Make a purple, yellow and green program. Patriotic holidays…. Red white and blue. Christmas green and red. Easter… several pastels. Perhaps they have it and I don’t understand it, but if they do I have not found it. But the lights are great! I love that I can have them inside and program them, unplug them and bring them where I want them, and then just plug them in and walk away. They come on in the colors I want at the precise time I ant them displayed. No dusk to dawn timer needed. I don’t have to turn them on manually or set the colors each time. I don’t have to have a wifi signal for them to be operated. I hope I don’t have the same difficulty some others have had were they don’t work after a few months. Will update review if that happens. Amazing lights! They are nice and bright! My only complaint is the app isn’t very user friendly. Plus you are restricted in the color patterns you can use. When you create your own scene, you have to use one of their standard colors, you can’t create your own. I used them from mid November to February and they held up fine in the New York snow. The media could not be loaded. Overall an excellent product. Would be better if bracket was a little bit thicker. After nearly a year of nightly use... no issues and no burned out leds. During install, I used a bit of clear silicone at edges of glass to add to sealing. Not sure if that was necessary but I was installing face up to replace some old uplights and wanted to make sure it was water proof. They have survived hail storm. App works just fine and provides nice interface to lights. Love the mesh network. Wish it was smarthings compatible but that is a nice to have. Would definitely recommend. Update on 12/15/23 approx one year later. One of the lights has now failed. I am still giving a good rating but a little disappointed that it failed after a year. ... show more

I used these floods to illuminate my home for the holidays. You have many options ranging from white to solid colors to fading colors. There are a number of programs that you can set up for an amazing light show. The phone app is easy to use. Instructions on how to set up the app could be better, but it is easy after you get the hang of it. I bought four of these floods last year and added two additional ones this year. The neighbors liked them so well, that they also ordered some. One complaint in the reviews was that some people found that water seeped behind the glass lens. I used black electrical tape all around the edges as a precautionary remedy for that scenario and have not had any issues at all. They come in sets of four and two. I have used these lights for 2 things, lighting up my house different colors on holidays, and aiming them at the street when it is dark to light it up for the neighborhood kids. It has exceeded my expectations in both regards. With the app the lights are easy to control and adjust, one at a time or all as a group. I have had them outdoors in all elements (not snow) continuously since purchase (9 months as of this writing) and they continue to perform well. (One note at the bottom.) For holidays, it really adds a fun splash of color to the house, but I get the most enjoyment from these from lighting up the street. I didn't expect them to be bright enough to light up the street (I have 4) and only did it as a test, however my wife and I were both impressed, so we kept them up and turn them on at night when kids are out in the street at dusk / dark. We did have one issue recently, a light had moisture inside of it and stopped working. I contacted support as the listing mentions a 2 year warranty. They got back to me within 24 hours and had shipped a replacement unit out. I received that replacement unit within 3 days. These lights are amazing and the warranty service was just as good.
