  • This Book is Really Well Done
Format: Kindle
This book is really well done! I especially like the way it was laid out and the format. Each page is very colorful with attention-grabbing graphics. Going through it is like a textbook for young kids, but a FUN textbook. It is filled with interesting facts about various birds, accompanied by a picture of each. I read it with my 11-year-old, who immediately took it outside to use while looking for and identifying birds. This book is excellent, and did not disappoint at all. ... show more

  • Amazing Birds!
Format: Paperback
When I was a child, I went to Florida, and my dad took me to Parrot Jungle. Best rip ever. This book brought back those great memories, and spurred my kid's interest in birds. I guess I will have to plan my own trip to the Jungle! Lovely book with vivid fun colors!

  • Simple and adorable.
Format: Paperback
Cute beginners guidebook to North American birds. It's very broadly educational at first, covering much more about birds than I first anticipated (from what shapes of beaks do to feather patterns meanings). The art is adorable and cartoony at first, but then delves into photorealistic birds later in the book for identifying. It still keeps it all rather simple for younger bird watching enthusiastic to understand. ... show more

  • All about backyard birds
Format: Paperback
Amazing fact filled book about 50 backyard birds. What you will learn is how birds build a nest, how they take care of their young, what they eat, what their feathers are for. That is just a few of the facts you will learn about. Forms for bird watchers or birders as I learned are in the book for those interested in. I found this book very interesting and will keep it in my “favorite collection”. ... show more
