    • Amazing in every way! Details below

I have tried many different sprinklers of different shapes, sizes, and configurations. This may be the last sprinkler I'll ever buy. I needed a good sprinkler to water my new grass without moving it 6 times. This one did the job with 2 placements. First, there's no assembly. You think that's a joke but I bought sprinklers that needed to be assembled first. For the price it is very much worth it. I bought the metal base and I'm glad I did. It is extremely sturdy and even if it's not perfectly level, it doesnt tip over. Two, the multiple options for configuration are amazing. From wide to narrow, left to right, and more. I used it on the widest and most broad spray setting and I was getting 36 feet by 32 feet of great wetting coverage. (My water pressure is 60 psi). ... show more

    • Perfect Purchase
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
How did we get along without this for so long? What a perfect sprinkler. The controls to widen and narrow the water pattern left, right, back and front, make this a very versatile oscillating sprinkler. I can walk up to it while it's on, move it, change the pattern and sit it down without getting sprayed in the process - it's that simple to use. The build quality is first rate with quality materials used. It's not overly heavy but heavy enough that it doesn't move if you turn the water on full blast. There's no sign of leaking anywhere, including at the hose connection. If you're looking for a quality sprinkler, you definitely found it. ... show more

    • OK sprinkler but I was expecting more.
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
I like the quality of it's construction but the range and intensity of the water output is a little disappointing for me. Others may be very satisfied but I am not sure I would purchase it again. Part of the performance issue may be related to being on a well.

    • The most satisfying sprinkler I have ever owned
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
This sprinkler is actually fun to use, the multiple adjustments permit you to precisely control exactly where the water goes, no matter the odd dimensions of your yard. It lays down a heavy supply of water, so it's satisfying to watch it go back and forth, back and forth. Like watching a Zamboni ice rink cleaner or a small brook flowing, or a gentle log fire. Relaxing. The metal base is heavy enough so it stays where you put it. The hose to sprinkler connection has ribs to turn it easily. The controls are solid and work smoothly. It sprays water a very long distance, and I have just ordinary water pressure. I'd say this will last 10 years or more. The caveat is not to abuse it by slamming it into the ground, yanking it around, stepping on it. The control levers aren't designed for that kind of abuse. They'll break. Same for the little rubber nozzles. They squirt the water perfectly, but they aren't metal, they're flexible plastic of some sort, and are delicate. Step on 'em, smash 'em into anything, and they won't be perfect any longer. Possibly the hardness of your water could be a factor that would eventually change that perfection. The water where I live comes off a glacier and is incredibly soft - no minerals. Another reason I expect this sprinkler to last 10 years. ... show more

    • Warranty NOT Honored.
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
Sang it! I had such high hopes for the four Melnor Metal Oscillating Sprinklers #?65154AMZ I ordered four & all was fine for a year, then I was down to one. Now none work. Well, they spray, but don’t oscillate. I emailed the company, asked for return label to send these back ANd for 4 replacements. Have not heard back. We paid to much for these & trusted the lifetime guarantee. Will not order again, unless that warranty is honored. ... show more

    • Who needs rain.
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
This is the best oscillator sprinkler hands down. With its metal base, it’s strong and durable and it stays where you put it. With all the adjustments you can make, angle of spray both sides to control of flow, you can get a perfect watering every time.

    • Very nic
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
Excellent sprinkler, easily adjust width and length of rectangle spray pattern, density of spray just right, holds up well to use as long as water drained to store for winter in unheated shed.

    • Plastic hose bib neck breaks every time.
Style: Metal Base Size: 3-Way Adjustable
The hose hookup, called a hose bib, has a plastic neck. Not good. It's literally the only thing about this sprinkler I cannot abide. It just breaks off every time I get another one. The company replaced the first one, and then the second one they sent me lasted longer than the first one (only 2 uses), but only because we were being extra careful with it since we already knew that was a weak point. But to no avail. Suddenly one day it was broke off just like the first one. It really is a good sprinkler, especially since our water well pumps a little sand, but why on earth make the most important piece out of weak plastic? Just not very wise. And to my knowledge it is still plastic. Additionally, the plastic yellow adjustment paddles on the sides get weakened by end of summer and just break off when trying to adjust. That 3rd one we had (yes, I'm a sucker for something I like how it works) lasted all the way to end of summer because I was very adamant about exactly how to move the sprinkler (very inconvenient) so it helped. But then trying to adjust the pattern in late summer the paddle broke off from uv deterioration, and while I was working on it to adjust it with a screwdriver . . . yep, the hose neck broke off. I threw it away and will not be getting another one. (Unless Melnor wakes up to reality and makes a strong metal hose bib neck and uses uv resistant plastic for the adjustment handles!!!!!!!!!! Doh!!!!!) ... show more
