I found this style of sprinkler when I created a narrower strip of lawn and garden that traditional sprinklers were not suited to. The adjustments on distance and width are perfect and very easy to use, and it can be easily rotated or moved to cover different spots. The distances for coverage in the listing are fairly accurate, but of course depend on your water pressure. Water coverage within the set area is pretty good. Build quality is good but we'll see if the basic plastic used holds up. Quick connect is nice as it works with my existing Gardena quick connects I have on all my hoses. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. All the functions work well, with the exception of the quick-release hose connection. Fully-tightened, it leaks like a sieve, so badly it degrades the water pressure to the point the sprinkler won't even work (1 star deducted for this). I like the width and distance cast features very much, easy to water more specific, differentiating ranges and shapes. It's all plastic, so am a little nervous regarding reliability and longevity, time will tell, I guess. ... show more

I've had three of these, the Spike version. Unfortunately the spike can break and bend easily when inserting it into hard Earth. However, if your careful, using another spiked object to make a hole first, this sprinkler's spike works great too. Once installed it's absolutely perfect for about a year in the hot sun, and then the adjustment tabs rot / disintegrate from the sun's awesome power. Also the rubberized nozzle tips rot in the sun after about a year as well. But if you can get a sale around twenty bucks, it's well worth it. I use the narrow (straight up, vertical) pattern alongside my property line on the west, and adjust the east spray pattern out a bit to cover a part of my yard, it perfect for "strip" coverage! The spray shoots taller than the house and 30 to 40 feet out! Very impressive! I've read about quality issues with the non-Spike versions which simply don't exist in the Spike version. If I can keep these from sun damage they would last forever, perhaps I'll rub them down once a week with SPF-100 lotion :-) ... show more

This sprinkler is awesome. I love how adjustable it is. I put it on the low setting and to hardly move to soak my flower beds. Then I put it on the highest pressure and turn everything on fully, and it gets every single part of my garden, and our garden is a very big area. It takes me around 2+ hours to water my flower beds and garden with the hose and with it now being so hot I don’t want to be standing out there doing that. With the sprinkler, I set it in each spot for about 8-10 min to soak the area, I did 25 min for my garden, and I go and do something else while the timer is going. I’m definitely considering getting 2 more as we have 3 hoses and I can get 3 spots watered at once. Seriously this sprinkler is awesome and is saving me from standing in the heat! ... show more

First, it works as expected. It works well and is easy to adjust everything. It has enough adjustments to handle any normal yard. It has a flow adjustment so if you connect multiplies in series you can control flow/pressure to the individual units. The only issue mine has is it cannot handle any side pressure at the collar connecting to hose. If the hose is not very straight there is a pretty good leak. My hose ends are machined, not pressed. The thread is a good fit and smooth. The end that contacts the sealing ring is wide, flat and smooth. Nothing else I connect to the hose needs to be very tight to seal. A little improvement to the robustness of this connection would be nice. As long as this does not get any worse and considering the price I would consider purchasing again. I'm adding an edit because the leak problems is gone. My only guess is something (piece of plastic??) from production was keeping 2 surfaces from sealing and has fallen out. ... show more
