Easy to use. Limited instructions, but it's pretty simple...just attach the hose and turn on. Keep away from dirt, where mud could clog the holes. I like it for several reasons: 1. Construction is metal. 2. Easy to use. Better than standing with a hose. You can just relax and watch it go! 3. It has a setting which allows the stream to stop midway. (Good for tight spaces where you want to keep water from walls or fences.) 4. The best reason for me is THAT THE HUMMINGBIRDS LOVE IT! Birds need fresh water on hot days. We just put seed down and have an older sprinkler on the front lawn and this one on the back. With the older one, and most sprinklers I've owned, it's really hard to set how far it waters to the left and then the right. I left it on all summer and was relieved of garden water duty which afforded me so much more time to do other things. This sprinkler works well for me since I have a well and it runs out of water quickly. This sprinkler has a good range of spreading the water but doesn't use that much water. This is good for me because the coverage I have when I start watering is about what it is after 15-20 minutes. I have a better quality sprinkler but it flows too much water so after 10 minutes it is covering about half what it started out covering. ... show more

2nd used and 3 of the spouts were not spraying straight. It is thoughtful that there is a built-in cleaning tool but I had to find out why that is a feature pretty early on. Not a reliable sprinkler if you expect to use it for very long
