We received the item. Box was in horrible condition; extremely damaged and dirty. Upon assembling item, I discovered that the part of the electrical wire that connects to the outlet was pinned in the fold of the bed base, and caught in a small pocket under base. As I checked the wire thoroughly, I discovered, it was flattened in 3 different folds on one end of the wrapped wire. We immediately had concerns about damage sustained internally, as we could not assess it at plain view. So, I immediately reached out to customer service for a replacement. The first issue I encountered was, the associate who assisted me was not experienced with this type of call, or situation, and was also not knowledgeable enough to see it through adequately. So, I asked, he would escalate the phone call, but instead he put me on hold to supposedly speak to a supervisor. I provided him with all he needed to know, and discuss with the supervisor in very clear detail. First, the box that the item came in was so damaged that it fell apart upon cutting the tape and strap that were holding it together. Therefore, I needed to receive the replacement first, in order to return the original purchased item in the replacement box. Second, I needed to then be able to schedule the return for a later date than the replacement's delivery, so my husband, a first responder to the pandemic, who works 12-14+ hour shifts, six (6) days out of the week, could have time to unbox and assemble replacement bed base, properly disassemble original bed base, and box it for return pick up. And again, I explained to the associate that in view of those circumstances, scheduling the pick up of the return item for the next business day, was not feasible as the item could not, and would not be ready for the main and simple reason, the box it came in was badly damaged and had fallen to pieces during unboxing. I was on hold for an eternity, then he came back and told me, he had spoken to supervisor and not to worry because he had explained it all, and everything was set the way we had discussed. But, he sounded as unsure and insecure about what he was saying, as he did trying to understand and grasp the nature of the call and task at hand. So, I proceeded to ask him a series of questions to make sure he had accurately conveyed the situation to the supervisor and understood the supervisor's advice. He still sounded confused and unsure, but he yessed me to death, and guaranteed all of the above. Sure enough, the very next day my regular UPS driver was knocking on my door with a label for pick-up of the adjustable bed base. He has a very sharp mind, so I quickly explained the dilemma I found myself in and why I couldn't even accept the label he brought with him, as such would be equal to accepting and undertaking the responsibility and task of returning the damaged item for which I was entitled a free pick of its return, and free delivery of a brand new replacement item. From that day on, it has been a living hell trying to get this situation resolved with Amazon. And to think, I bought this item from them to avoid dealing directly with the manufacturer because they have a horrible reputation for their lack of customer service availability, response, etc. When I finally was able to reach a supervisor at Amazon who totally understood the situation and the logic behind it, he scheduled the delivery of a replacement, and provided me with a label for the free return at a later date than the delivery of the replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement came severely damaged at the bottom of the bed base. It looked like Wolverine had attacked it with his claws. You could literally see deep indentations with ripples of the metal on the sides in several places. Also, on the front of the bed base the fabric was ripped at the surface and stretched out and therefore weakened to where it could, and would come undone at any moment with regular use. So, we had to return the damaged replacement, instead of the original. I called Amazon again, explained our predicament, and another replacement was set for delivery with the same required and requested conditions and instructions. I was on the lookout on the scheduled delivery date and when I heard the truck, I promptly ran to the door. By the time I opened the door, I saw two young men walking toward my apartment with the box containing my replacement. I immediately asked them to please stop and allow me to take a closer look at what I could see was another nasty and beat up box that not only had previous delivery labels, indicative of having been delivered to, and returned by multiple people, but also in such deplorable shape, it could not serve the purpose for returning the original damaged item sent for my purchase. I refused delivery and called Amazon Customer Service again. The first person I spoke to sounded as clueless and confused as to what to do, and could not fully grasp what I was explaining had transpired, I had to ask she would escalate the call but, since that was not going to happen, I told her not to worry, I would call again. At this point, I can't remember if she agreed to transfer me, or if I let her go and called again. But, I did speak with someone else. I believe that next Customer Service associate was the only one in that mess of calls, besides the first and only supervisor I spoke with at the very beginning of the ordeal, who fully grasped all that had taken place and knew what to do, and how to do it. However, after she handled request of yet another replacement bed base, and specified for it to be in 'brand new condition', and also programmed free pick up of original bed base due to electrical wire being caught and flattened on fold of bed base, when she processed the request, it seemed to have disappeared in the system, and she could not find it anywhere after looking multiple times. So, she asked me to please be patient while she process it again. She did, and we parted ways. The next evening, I went on Amazon to check something else and after, I checked the status of the order. To my surprise, the system had apparently processed her first failed request, and also the second. So, I had two items coming my way. I placed a call request through the app on my phone, but the automated service kept malfunctioning, and my call kept falling dead, so I tried again, but the same thing happened. I tried calling multiple times. I even tried responding to the automated system's questions in different ways to see if that would direct me to someone, but each time the call would fall dead when system attempted to transfer me. I was discouraged, but I tried one more time, for the sake of making them aware that two replacement beds had been shipped, and also to try to prevent the system from possibly charging me for the duplicate replacement processed in error. But, when I tried, a pink box with red letters appeared on the screen informing me that I had been blocked from calling Amazon. I was taken aback, but I figured, since the call request system had malfunctioned multiple times, maybe they were having an overload of calls that the system could not handle, so it had altogether failed. So, again, for the sake of alerting them about the duplicate, I tried to reach out through chat, which I thoroughly detest. Even that attempt return the same results; same box and notification of having been blocked from contacting Amazon. Since then, I have made other purchases and so have my family members, while I still remained blocked from access to Amazon's customer service. I am a prime member, yet, to date one of the duplicate orders appears as still processing, the other appears as delivered and when I searched a different way, there is a third status of cancelled, but nothing was done about my free new replacement for the original order received, and not one person has reached out to me... I did reach out to UPS that same night that Amazon blocked me, and they were amazing as usual. First call was routed to a UPS warehouse in Tampa. The woman I spoke to confirmed they had not deliver the item they had in their truck that day because they cannot deliver to Clearwater. But, she was flabbergasted upon hearing my dilemma. She was gracious enough to check the tracking number for the duplicate item also not delivered that day as scheduled by Amazon's system, and discovered that it was at a warehouse in Clearwater. She then told me that the one at her warehouse could end up being sent to the warehouse in Clearwater but, she would try to see if instead, it would be possible for her warehouse to return to sender, that being Amazon, in an effort to alleviate my burden. She was able to find the number for the warehouse in Clearwater, and gave it to me. I immediately called the number and spoke to a gentleman who was also taken aback by my dilemma and the poor way it was being handled. He immediately proceeded to verify the tracking number for the second bed base scheduled for that day but not received, and said it would be on its way for delivery the next day. Well, the next day, my regular UPS delivery person was knocking at my door, but when I opened, he was empty-handed. I was baffled. So, I asked him if he had my bed base in his truck and while he replied affirmatively, I couldn't get passed the puzzled look on his face. He shook his head and said, you better come look at it, because I don't know if you are going to accept it... I proceeded to accompany to the truck which he had backed up into a parking space directly in front of my building. When he rolled up the back door, climbed on the truck and pulled the box toward him I was met with horror. There was not one box, but two, and both in deplorable conditions. We both started laughing at the irony of it all. Both boxes had multiple shipping labels from previous deliveries to customers in other states that had obviously sent them back to Amazon. We were both speechless. And I could not get passed the permanent expression of stupefaction on his face. In fact, it is until now that the 'UNBELIEVABLE' of this unresolved situation has truly hit me. I had to let it go for a while, because it was literally affecting my already challenged health. The moral of this story: Do Not Purchase This Item from Manufacturer, Amazon, or Any Other Place!!! ... show more

It took three days to get the full expansion, but it was high enough to sleep on the first night and still very comfortable. I love the way the knees get the relief they need.

After many surgeries over the years working in construction...and the onset of older age, I knew it was time for an upgrade in the hopes of finding more comfort while sleeping and resting in bed. I am very pleased with this adjustable bed frame and had no idea the level of comfort that can be achieved when using it. I like the remote and how easy it is to use. One button for returning the bed to it's flat position so just press the button once and it returns to it's flat position. You can program the remote as well but I haven't had the need to do so just yet. I used to use wedges for my head and feet and thanks to this bed that's now over. It wasn't hard at all to setup. We rolled it on a floor dolly to the bedroom and placed it on the floor and had it unboxed quickly and up and running in little time. Not difficult in setting it up and you'll be able to use it quickly once you complete it's setup. The motors are quiet and work smoothly with no problems to date. We also discovered USB ports installed on the underneath sides of the bed frame at both sides of the bed. Nice touch!! It seems to be of good quality with no apparent design/construction concerns at this time. I'm very pleased with this frame and wonder why in the world it took me so long to get one.   • Great for some, if you have a disability, might not be for you

This is a really well made product. It was easy to assemble and the assembly was minimal. I bought this as an alternative to a very expensive model in the mattress store. My only complaint is that when the head of the bed is raised it leaves my head unsupported. It is hard to find a way to support my neck and head as you have a drop off between the raised mattress and the wall. If I scoot lower to support my head then my feet are off the bottom of the mattress. If this is critical to your level of comfort or need, you should seriously consider if this is the right model. I am disappointed in myself for not taking the free model from the mattress store that did support my neck and head. Note: I am disabled with severe neck and back issues so my experience is not the average experience. ... show more

had an issue with one bed coming with what looked like a forklift had punctured box - unit still worked and AMAZON did send a new unit so all is well in that area. overall the beds I got work great so far. here's the burning question that someone looking for an adjustable bed thinks about - Should I get separate twins to make the king size and we each have it adjustable or do I get the king size and we both have to like the adjustment. Biggest ISSUE - split king bed is great for individual adjustment - BUT if you plan on having any EXTRACURRICULAR activities on the bed you WILL fall in the gap. we added a bed bridge and strap and its better ... show more

I read some of the low star rating reviews and thought a few "Karens" must of wrote them after sleeping on this bed frame. It is a great frame for the money. Nice features with a low price point and I saved a lot of money. Maybe they didn't read that the bed was NOT included and just slept on the frame? Boy, that would make you sore the next day. I will be buying another for the guest bedroom next month, that is how happy I am with it. ... show more
