As far as the Gazebo itself I am pleased , but I WENT THROUGH TOTAL HELL DEALING WITH MELLCOM . THE DELIVERY SERVICE THEY USE IS CRAPPY AS HELL . After 3 seperate deliveries of the damaged , unuseable roof panels and a month of back and forth with Mellcom THE 48 HR WAIT FOR THEM TO RESPOND EACH TIME I RECIEVED ANOTHER SHIPMENT OF DAMAGED PANELS . THE PANELS ARE SHIPPED IN A METAL FRAME WITH NO PROTECTION TO PREVENT DAMMAGED TO THE PANELS WITH SARAN WRAP AROUND THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF METAL FRAME NOTHING TO STOP PANELS FROM SLIDING AND BUMPING AGAINST THE METAL FRAMES NO SUPPORT AT ALL , THIS IS WHAT CAUSED THE DAMAGE TO THE PANELS NO WARNING INFO LABELS ON BOXES ( do not drop , Fragile , etc.) One set of panels had complete boot prints all over the boxes where they had beenrepeatedly walked over . I HAD TO CANCEL MY BIRTHDAY AND 4TH OF JULY EVENTS THIS YEAR , It was to the point that I requested a full refund Mellcom refused , I requested compensation for shipping and handling that I paid Mellcom refused I after going through taking pictures of damaged torn up boxes of panels, damaged panels , proof of how they were delivered to my home Mellcom had the nerve to suggest that if I could make repairs to the panels if possible , and their cost for having to reship new boxes of roof panels as if it was my fault . " My response " I paid for shipping and handling and a BRAND NEW GAZEBO AND THATS WHAT IM EXSPECTING TO RECIEVE . FRUSTATED , PISSED OF AND HURT BY THEIR BUSINESS TACTICS . THANKS TO THE ASSISTANCE OF AMAZONS PISSED CUSTOMER SERVICE TEAM MY NIGHTMARE IS FINALLY OVER , AND MY BRAND NEW GAZEBO IS COMPLETE .

The Gazebo arrived in 2 separate shipments just like they said. Everything was in both boxes. It wasn't missing anything. It suggested to have help assembling the Gazebo but I'm a stubborn old man and I put together by my self in about 4 to 5 hours over 2 days. There was some calculating and adjusting on the curtains and screens but I got it sorted out. It all went together very well. Well pleased !! Good value and good quality !!

This Gazebo is not square, was hard to put together, some of the bolt holes were stripped out, we had to use some of our own bolts to make it work. The panels for the roof, are not worthy to shed rain, they dont fit the rails that they slide into, there are gaps, it definetly will not hold any kind of snow load. I am so unhappy and disappointed with this product, definetly not what it claims to be. I would send the whole thing back but it's way to much hassle, I'm sure a good wind will take care of it!

Instructions are easy to follow for me I work in construction and have all the tools to make it easy might be a little challenging for the average person. I bought two of them to make a 14 by 40 foot shade, I was able to install by myself with the use of two 6 foot and one 10 foot ladder. You will need a helper for some of the roof bolts but that can be after installation. The framing is very easy it’s the roof that’s a little tricky, the holes do line up but you need a screw driver to Aline the holes I used about 4 of them. The only bad part of the roofing is the end brackets that keep the edge of the metal roofing in place (very poor design). All in all I love the way it came out very nice gazebo and I would buy another one. I live in Los Angeles so it should be ok for our type of weather. If you live in a harsh environment might want to consider something a little more stronger but still very stable. I gave 4 stars only because of the edging support brackets on the roof.

We had purchased a soft top canopy for the pool deck last year for $169. That lasted 8 months. So this year I ordered the 12x14 Polycarbonate roof gazebo. I wanted the poly instead of the aluminum top to allow some day light to come through. It arrived in 4 boxes. I opened the boxes and spread out the parts and "read" the directions. I read the reviews about assembly but my wife is the mechanically inclined one of us and we weren't intimidated. The directions are mostly pictures but the parts were clearly marked which made assembly a breeze, until it was time to slide in the roof panels. That was the biggest pain in this job. It was tough to get them all aligned properly so that the end caps fit. But we muddled through it and 6 hours later, we were done. We did not work fast and my wife double checks everything, otherwise it would have taken 5 hours (with power tools). Everything fit and all the holes were in the right place. It seems really sturdy but we have not had much wind lately. We haven't had much rain either so I can't speak about that. Some reviews said it was too hot under it but I live in south Georgia and we have had some hot days and sitting under it was just fine. We did purchase a hanging gazabo fan and put some LED light strips and so far it is a wonderful addition.

We will be using the gazebo for a car-port. All the necessary parts were enclosed and the instructions were adequate, just take your time. The shipper dinged up a few of the roof panels, but not to the point of being unusable. I am impressed by the quality, the fit, and the sturdiness of the finished product. My most important tip: use an impact driver (or a drill with a slip-clutch) with a short extension and a hex bit to drive the screws and - in the many spots where the clearance is tight and you can't get a straight shot at the screw - insert the hex bit into the screw-head first then slide the driver extension on to the hex bit, rather than having the hex bit in the extension then trying to get it inserted into the screw-head. (Fussy, minor point, maybe, but it saved us a lot of stripped screw-heads!) All in all, a good product, good value, and a fun/challenging 1 to 2-day project.
