In the spring through the fall we have regular outing each month where we are setting up a tent or a pop up unit. We have a collection of tent pegs from plastic to steel and they all work just fine...until they don't and you don't know when that time will come untill you get hit with an unexpected blast of wind and see your pop up tumbling away or blowing over. This sort of screw in anchor holds so much better than a straight tent peg, though they can be more difficult to use in rocky ground (then we double up on tie downs!). We have used and have been happy with a similarly designed anchor, but these have a design that really appealed to us, now that we're a bit older. The anchors are very well made and very well finished. The sharp tips are covered with a rubber plug which you'd remove before screwing into the ground and it's the screwing in the ground that's the most arduous part of using this sort of anchor...but, not with these. The top ring unscrews from the anchor and you can fit a cordless drill or driver onto the top of them. Let your finger do the walking...just press on the trigger and let the drill screw these down into the ground...easy peasy. We played around with these in the yard and could get them really well down in dirt...but it was much harder when we tried to use them in the packed gravel of our drive. We encounter all sorts of things when setting up our equipment and for grass/dirt set ups, these work very well (and more easily when we can use the drill to do the work for us) otherwise we need to punt and tend to use weighted bags and keep our fingers crossed. These are really well made and solid anchors and you'll be happy to have a set in your camping supplies.

This is a very nice kit of ground anchors. The drove into the ground very well and seem well made. My Milwaukee 1/2 drive impact has no issue and the anchors held up to the power. They are holding well in the ground. I picked these up to anchor my trampoline to the ground and they definitely should do the job. Also I love they’re painted orange. It saves me from painting them so the kids notice them better. No complaints.

Handy to have for canopies which is what we are using it for. We're in a high wind area so I wanted something better than conventional stakes. I was looking at the dog lead stakes (the big corkscrew) but those are more expensive per stake, and harder on hands. I do wish these came in other colors. Orange is good for people who are maybe having to be careful around lawn mowers; otherwise it should be easy to get these powder coated in a variety of colors to cater to a variety of aesthetic applications. Luckily my canopies won't clash with orange but if I had forest green canopies, I would not choose these.

I have not set up my volleyball net yet, but when I do, I think these are going to work great for holding the poles upright. For this winter, I plan to use it to hold down some plant covering fabric. The anchor went in fairly quickly with an impact driver and a 9/16" socket (Might not be quite the right size, but it was close). Just unscrew the hook, drive it into the ground, then screw the hook back in. These feel quite strong and I'm hoping will last a long time. The bright orange color is also a plus for being able to find the anchor again.

Our above-ground pool cover always blows off a little in the winter. These are great (so far) for keeping our cover on the pool. I attached the cover to these anchors and so far it has worked great. They have already held up to 40-mile-hour winds and the cover didn't move.
