This review is for the MELLCOM 12' x 14' Hardtop Gazebo, Iron Double Roof Gazebo with Curtains and Netting. First off, this product comes in 4 boxes (A,B,C and D) weighing 127.5 lbs each. The first box you need is C which contains the instructions. The instructions are not great, just pictures, but if you look closely, they provide the information you need to get this assembly done. And it is not that difficult. Consider, I am 74 years old, 5'4" tall and weigh 157 lbs. and I assembled the whole thing by myself in a total time of about 14 hours. However, I assembled this gazebo on a 12' x 14' wood deck, 10 feet above ground. I could not walk around the outside which would have made the job a lot easier not to mention the numerous trips up and down the stairs. It was a challenge but I enjoyed every minute. I am telling you this so as to assure you there is no need to fear this project. Yes, 2 or 3 people could easily do it in 8 hours or less provided they have basic assembly skills, a little common sense, some ingenuity and easy accessibility to all 4 sides. I was impressed with the design and engineering of this gazebo as it is well made. It is an awesome looking and sturdy product which I truly recommend. My wife loves it and so do I. Now for the next project....

Maybe I shouldn’t have expected much. But I was disappointed. I got the wood one and the wood is not sealed and cracked very easily when assembling. Purchased an 11x13; I’m not sure what exactly they were measuring from but I never got 11x13 maybe 10.5 x 12. Like many others have said make sure it is level vertically and horizontally; hopefully, you have better luck than I did and don’t have to adjust 5-6 times. Also it only gives you 8 stakes to anchor it which is a joke. It won’t secure it nor will 40 lbs of rock in a planter. Strongly recommend using a base anchor, rebar, or quikcrete.

I wrote the company about the missing and broken pieces, they were quick to get back to me. But have not sent replacements even though they say they will. I have had the gazebo for 4 months and one of the support legs have already cracked. You will need to seal the wood and the instructions will tell you it’s not weatherproofed. Oh they also forgot to send the instructions with the gazebo I had to download them.

This can in 3 packages over a 2 week period. Definitely need a professional to assemble. We hired a handyman and it took 2 days for them to put it up. The gazebo itself is awesome but it is definitely not a project for just anyone to undertake.

I paid 1,026.00 dollars for this Gazebo. It will be 2 years next month, I live in Florida, and we had hail falling it put a hole in one of my panels, and some of the tint on panels has come off, don't think this Gazebo can withstand a hurricane. Would not purchase again.

We love our Canopy! It was somewhat easy to put together. My husband actually put it together himself. The only issue we’ve had is that the elastic straps to attach the canopy to the frame have dry rotted and it’s only been up a couple of months. Not a reason to not purchase this canopy. After the rain fabric eventually gave in and damaged the top of the gazebo. I have reached out to seller and got a prompt response. They have sent me a very generous replacement. Company has kept in contact all the way through. The gazebo itself is beautiful! One thing I'd wish, is to see some halls on each side of the fabric for drainage when it rains.
