I am really impressed with this cat carrier. The features included in its design really go above and beyond what you see in most standard carriers, and the quality of the materials and workmanship seem to be pretty well thought out too. First, I love that there are two "tent pole" type removable structure supports that you add along the two top edges. The cat carrier I am replacing lacked structure and would often fall in on top of her, so this is an amazing feature. Second, the expanding side is great! I think the design could have been thought out a little better because you have to unzip the expansion from the inside. If you have a cat who likes to high-tail it out of there, then you may not want to risk opening the carrier just to open the expansion. But, having the expansion open all the time isn't great either. So! This is a nice feature when it's convenient to use it. Even with this so-so design oversight, I still think it's a 5-star product. Third, the interior looks very roomy, with or without the expansion, and the bottom has a faux-Sherpa lining. It's removable if you need to pack up the carrier or clean it out. I haven't had to clean up any accidents yet, so I'm not sure how easy it is to wash, but it doesn't seem like it would be too difficult. The interior has a waterproof lining as well, especially on the bottom. Thank you for this! Fourth, the carrying handles and straps are super comfortable, and the strap connections seem to be really durable. The comfort pad on the strap is a nice touch. Fifth, the mesh top, side, and expansion are wonderful for ventilation and give lots of room for kitties to see out. I have kitties that don't particularly care for car rides, but it helps if they can see another vehicle passenger or me, so this feature is really important. Lastly! Yes, finally! So many storage pockets. There was a lot of thought put into the external storage pockets and the luggage handle sleeve. You have a solid external drawstring pocket with a zipper for cleaning, a small mesh pocket with elastic, and a wider, flat mesh pocket along the side. Overall, this is an impressive carrier. I think both cats will be much more comfortable in this one than the other we have so I may just get a second one of these!

This is an amazingly convenient and easy to use cat carrier that actually works well and it seems to keep my kitty a good bit calmer than normal during a trip outside the house. This is nicely made, simple in its design, it’s seemingly a lot more fun for the cat, and it is roomy. Pros: Super roomy for the cat Easier to setup Cat seems to like it tons more Not a bad value at all Cons: None so far

I bought this because the great reviews of it being sturdy with the rods in it. I was so excited when I received it too because it looked like it would hold up to it’s reputation. Welllll.. it didn’t. Not even 15 mins into the airport the rod broke when I used the shoulder sling because they’re made of plastic. I travel alone with my dog so this ended up ruining my trip because I had no help carrying stuff so rather than using the cross body strap, I had to use my arm or else he would be squished which killed my back. Then when we board the plane I went to slide him under the seat and the carrier is too tall to go under, a flight attendant told me I needed to push him under the chair still so I had to break the carrier more to make it fit properly and my poor dog had to stay in that position for two flights in 8 hours.. so yeah don’t buy this for travel. It’s great to maybe put in a car as a car seat thing but that’s really it.

This carrier is definitely one of the more roomier ones I have tried. My cat is about 8-9 lbs and medium sized. The carrier pops open (and flat when you are done with it). Everything is pretty much assembled, all you need to do is put together 2 sticks (held by elastic) which helps give it a more rigid shape. The top opening is wide, to make kitty's entry into the carrier all that more easier and nice straps (hand and shoulder) for a good hold as they are moved from one destination to another. Definitely much better than those nasty old plastic carriers of yesterday!

This carrier is great! The carrier is really durable and sturdy. The cage has two metal rods that got into the bag frame for added structural integrity and protection. You can also remove them if you’d like them to be more compact for storage. I really love the feature where you can extend the bag and will give your pet a bit more room and another window. Which is one thing I wish it had more of. It only has the top and one side that is able to be seen through besides the extender. It feels like it’s probably a bit more sturdy since three walls are solid. But I’m not able to see my pet as easily which my cat freaks out in cars if they can’t see me. But I highly recommend this bag. It’s one of the most well made carriers I’ve ever had and looks like it will last for a long time.
