I seldom leave reviews, unless really impressed. Our blind was just installed, but I'm very hopeful. We have pull cord blinds in other areas of the house which are custom made. The feel of the materials used in the blackout blind feel substantial, and that it will hold up. Installing was very forgiving since the main rod, which the fabric is attached to, is actually wider than the blind material. This makes it very customizable. We used a hack saw to cut the thin main metal rod, which the end brackets go inside of on both ends, to the "exact" window width we needed. We purchased the 72 inch wide, and we only needed to cut the main rod one quarter inch shorter for the blind to snap into place. The prong on the left side plunges in nicely, and pops out into the hole in the bracket perfectly. If cutting the rod down in size, do a little at a time, and try to gradually get it to fit snuggly. We even turned our fabric around, since it's in an upstairs bedroom window, and we wanted to see the textured side in our room. Ive been looking for a good blackout window shade for the double window in our bedroom. The window is 70" wide on the outside of the window frame, and I got the 73" curtain. The curtain itself is more like 72" but the mounting hardware reaches 73" across. They included a clear plastic measuring tape, which I taped up to help with installation. It was possible to install with one person, but would have been a bit easier with two. The included drywall anchors are a bit flimsy and the first one bent, but luckily I had a spare. We have tried eclipse curtains, in the past but white ones still let in light. I installed this roller shade and wow, it works. I've included a picture with the lights off, and with daylight outside you can see just the tiniest bit of light on the side. At night, you can't see any light coming in at all. I imagine that mounting it backwards so it rolls under and fits even closer to the wall would eliminate even that sliver of light, but I like the look as it is. I will say that the chain does not necessarily move the shade super smoothly. But, the window shade seems sturdy enough, especially for the price. I'll update if anything changes but I am quite happy with this for now. ... show more

2 out of 3 of the shades were rolled backward I had to unroll them and reroll them the correct way. They arrived very creased and wrinkled but I was able to remove most of the wrinkles using a hair dryer for about 10 minutes. The creases also improved but did not completely resolve with the hair dryer. I will gingerly try the iron next. The plastic chain looks cheap and should have been made of metal. Otherwise the blinds are white, they match, they function properly and are dark enough to block the sun from bleaching my leather furniture. They are $15 too expensive for the quality. ... show more

GREAT!! my first blinds i order from joycon never came in and i never heard back from them. THIS purchase definitely made my day tho!! i'd give them 5/5 for customer support just because before the package had came in, they reached out to me with an email to let em know if it was missing any parts and needed any replacements. Set up was fairly easy/pretty straight forward, however it did take another person to help me out due to it being 70+inches blinds. The blinds are fairly cheap material, however its was a great deal for what its worth, thanks again and praise the sun! ... show more

The brackets were very easy to set, but putting the shade up was a challenge. I finally got them hung but it was by a freak accident. Direction are ok, but not great. Yes after finally figuring out the trick I will buy again.
