13 months and touch screen now useless

bought in October 2020 and now the touch screen doesn't work. getting technical support is nearly impossible. if you're lucky you'll get an email back in a day or two and the same with any reply you're expecting. so literally every question you have is going to take days to get a reply to and you probably won't get the help you need. the stereo was in another language when I got it and luckily my son figured out how to change it. there are no instructions for use. I tried multiple times to change the degree to farenheit but it won't keep the setting, never got the map to work, several pre installed apps were obsolete so many features just don't work. the main problem now is the touchscreen won't respond to any touch and the tech support sends me a video to access the programming by using the touchscreen...so that was useless. a couple times it started working again but not for long so it's useless now and I haven't heard from tech support for almost a week now. I don't recommend this stereo, it has been nothing but a hassle the whole time. I'm going to have to buy a conversion kit and get a double din like I should have done in the first place. feeling ripped off.

Worked good for 6 months and then no power. Pulled the fuse and it restarted. So far so good. Screen is nice and large. Only complaint is there's nothing securing it on the lower half. Makes it loose. Volume control is touch so takes some getting used to where to turn up and down while driving.

Overall it's a great product. The modern accessibility for an older car will be noticable right away and you'll love it. Where you will understand why it's 3 stars is the fact that it disconnects on its own while you're playing music, quite often. It is sometimes difficult for it to reconnect. You have to fidget with the connect and home button a few times in order to connect it, if you find that it isn't automatically connecting. The call feature is surprisingly really good. Having said that it will sound like you're a bit far from your phone but the clarity will be there, unless there is a lot of road noise. If there is road noise it will pick it all up. You're android auto feature, when it works, works incredibly well. Overall, it's worth the price. Just be aware of what you're getting so you aren't disappointed.

Honestly this thing makes you're car much more stylish and modern. I got a 07 and the install was supper easy I did everything in under a hr only thing is the bottom of it it looks a bit off center but if u ain't ocd u won't mind it, the only thing that I'm having trouble is when I mirror my phone it shows a black screen when im on Netflix. But if I use tubi it plays perfectly dont know whats the problem there but thats the only issue I have. Not a big deal tho its pretty awesome. If u guys having the same issue like I am and know how to fix it let me know thanks! UPDATE: FOR SOME REASON MY AC BUTTONS DONT WORK. I PRESS THEM & THE AC MENU JUST DONT POP UP MORE. & THE AC ON MY CAR NEVER HAD A ISSUE.

After 3 years or so of owning this product its been giving nothing but issues now. You pay for what you get right. Through the first year my gps and backup camera stopped working but it was whatever i only really cared about carplay really. But it also just keeps disconnecting which was annoying but again. You get what you pay for i just learned to live with it. Now this past month or so the audio randomly stopped working and you cannot hear anything at all. Even resetting or turning the car off dont help it just randomly decides wen it wants to work. Lowering my rating because it did last a while but then again you paying for something Cheap. This is what you will risk. Honestly. This radio is a gonna be kinda difficult to install if you aren’t tech savvy. Plug and play yes. But if u want to install a back up camera and all that. Well u gotta figure out where to plug things in. Fitment was great on a honda accord 05 LX. Everything works. AC is good. But one thing im still figuring out is how to change the AC to display Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. Other than that. Im kinda content with this radio it being this price and actually does have wireless apple carplay. Lets see how long this last. *for those wanting to change the ac from celsius to Fahrenheit. You have to go to settings - car settings - extra settings - 8888 - model choose - then press the config and choose the single or dual zone. And it’ll download an update make sure to not turn off ur car. And then after you should see the temp unit option in the car settings app!!*

updated sep08'2022. after 2 years, unit doesn't seem to be working well. the ac interface does not show up when you turn the physical knobs. the mic no longer works. the gps antenna no longer functioned so i had to buy another antenna and that fixed the gps map issue. ------- this is a custom fit head unit for the 2003-2007 accords only. i installed for my mother on her 2006 and she loves it. igave her my old 2014 TL and she gave it back to me bc she preferred her sentimental accord.. go figure. anyway, easy to use and large screen for her to view. now she has Bluetooth and navigation maps to replace her old broken oem system. i was worried about ac single climate control since her car didn't have dual, but works nicely. it's been 2mos since installed. took about 1.5wks from China to Sacramento/usa (I'm assuming that's why a little pricier than others due to the quick ship, but i went with this company bc they responded quickly to my questions and good customer service). btw, the admin code to change the logo is 3368 for those asking (which they promptly responded to my email after delivery).
