I like that this had a wider wheel/base than others I have seen. I think that probably contributes to what looks like a higher cost over other models. This is a free motion wheel that does not appear to have any auto recall / recoil function that might also be available in other models. I have been very cautious using this as I have an abdominal hernia that has previously been "corrected" with surgery but I'm doing my best not to re-aggravate it. I need to do more abdominal exercises to work on the dad bod gut and I picked this up to help encourage that activity but still taking it slow. There appear to be several youtube videos out there for proper form and slowing working your way up to certain stretch/extension limits so if you are not already familiar with those definitely go look them up and save yourself from unintended injury. The knee pad is a little thin but so far I have been using this in a carpeted area where I don't have to worry as much about my knees.

The roller wheel is thick and sturdy. The handles are comfortable and provide a good grip, which is essential when you're breaking a sweat and need to maintain balance. At first, I was a bit skeptical about how effective it could be. It's challenging, but in a good way that makes you feel like you're making progress, Your abs will be sore! Mark my words... My dad used to have one when I was a kid. It does strengthen your core... One thing to note is to start slow, especially if you're new to this type of exercise. It might look easy, but it requires good form and control. Don't overdo it you might pull a side muscle. It looks easy but it isn't lol. Overall, the Ab Roller Wheel has been a fantastic addition to my fitness routine. It's simple, effective, and really works your core. If you're looking for a tool to level up your ab workouts, I highly recommend giving this a try!

If I ignore the very sad knee pad, I would have given this a full 5-stars. But seriously, why gratuitously include something that is a complete mismatch with the main product? It may seem like a good selling point, but from the perspective of the customer, the inclusion of a thin and cheap knee pad can bring down the overall perceived quality of the product. Provide a knee pad that’s a little better… or don’t include it at all (although for >$45, it would be better if you included one that was of slightly better quality). Having voiced my complain, now the good part. This is a great ab roller! Very stable, sturdy, and well constructed. No assembly needed! Started using it straight out of the box. It feels like a hefty downhill bike among ab rollers. I think the stability makes it much safer for beginners and veterans alike. Due to the formidable wheels, I’m able to do rolls on my shaggy rug, where I can try out more advance and risky moves like standing rollout (ok… I’ve not been successful at that yet and keep flopping onto the rug). To be honest, I’ve never used an ab roller before. I kinda thought it was more hype than real… but having tried this, I’ve come to the conclusion that is a great upper body exercise. And this ab wheel works great and worth having around.

I actually prefer this single-wheel style to the many and seemingly more popular front-and-rear wheel designs that are floating around out there. Those are nice for rep-counting purposes, and also if you like the auto-recoil function. But, I don't so much... This is a very sturdy, "beefy" product. I am 5' 11" and weigh 210 lbs., and I feel completely secure... even at full extension. Quality materials and components throughout. Handles are ergonomic and very comfortable... And, speaking of comfort, the included knee pad is a very welcomed addition on any type of hard flooring, saving your knees from too much abuse... So far, I am very pleased with this product. Overall 4.8 stars... and recommended. 👍🏻😎💪🏻

While this is small and perfect for a home gym in a tiny condo, just keep in my your body on the floor. I'm sure some may not realize how much space you really need. This item is sturdy and rolls nicely on our laminate flooring. I don't currently have a mat down, not sure if I will get one. It gives you a good workout and is not for beginners. You can start slow and put less effort into it, but still, not something I'd recommend for someone just beginning a journey. Great core workout though. Youtube can be helpful for video guidance.

This ab roller is stable and sturdy despite being quite lightweight. The handles are comfy to grab and rock-solid; they won't bend or break on you. The wheel is coated in rubber, so you can use it on hard surfaces like wood flooring or tiles and it'll have good grip. There is a basic instruction manual with different exercises by level, and a very thin /useless mat -- I'd recommend getting a better one, for your knees' benefit.
