It honestly feels like a permanent fixture on my windshield; I actually had to muscle it a bit just to adjust the placement! It holds incredibly tight even on bumpy roads, and the magnets are super strong—my phone snaps right into place instantly and stays put, but it’s still easy to pull off when I need to get out of the car. Another huge plus is the 360° rotating base. Because it spins all the way around, I was able to mount it on the back of my dash screen panel and just angle the arm out. This is one of the best car mounts I’ve used. The whole thing is made entirely of metal, so it feels incredibly tough and well-made. The arm is super sturdy, there is no cheap plastic to worry about snapping after a few months. This mount will definitely last a long time. I love the bottom of the base; it has a cool diamond-pattern texture that catches the sunlight and looks way more premium than the price suggests, almost giving it a luxury feel. Additionally, the suction cup sticks like crazy. Even on bumpy roads or when I have to brake hard, it doesn’t budge at all. I was honestly surprised by how well it stays put on the dash. This mount is built really well. The all‑metal construction feels solid, and the magnetic hold is strong enough that I don’t worry about my phone shifting, even on rough roads. Finally, a car mount that doesn’t drop my phone every time I hit a pothole! The metal build feels super solid, not like that cheap plastic stuff. This MagSafe car mount is thoughtfully designed and works well in a variety of places and vehicles. It’s not restricted to Tesla. I have a Toyota and it fits and functions perfectly, and the setup options make it easy to use in many different cars or locations (e.g. office desk, kitchen countertop). I am genuinely impressed with the construction and the level of detail in the installation directions. It feels like they thought of everything with the included stick-on base, metal ring, cleaning pads, and the stand itself. I was able to use the suction cup directly on my dashboard (without the stick-on base), which has a very light pebble texture, and it held without any issues. The holder has a bit of weight to it, but that actually helps counterbalance the weight of the phone, so it stays steady while driving. I also appreciate that the suction cup base turns depending on whether you want to tighten it to mount it or loosen it to remove it. It makes the whole process simple and intuitive. The magnetic holder grips my iPhone with the magnetic ring securely and without any problems. Once it is in place, it stays put even on bumpy roads. The metal, textured material is a nice shinny grey/black color and adds to the impressiveness of this product. Overall, this is a well-made, flexible, and reliable mount that makes using a phone for navigation much easier. It’s also versatile to use wherever you want your phone to stand. I purchased a similar one of these magsafe car mounts for my other car and like it a lot. This one is different but just as nice in every way. The box that it comes in is nice and compact and it is packed well with a thin layer of foam around it. It comes with wipes to clean off any surface that you're trying to stick to. Like many of these devices it has a sticky pad on the bottom that does not leave any residue when you remove it from the surface. This type of pad can be cleaned and reused any number of times and is what helps it stick to just about any surface beyond glass. I was impressed that it stuck on the somewhat bumpy texture of my dash and of course once it's stuck to the window there is no undoing it unless you want it to come off. You stick the device onto the surface and give the base a half turn or so in the clockwise direction to lock it down. It has satisfying clicks that give you a tactile and audible feedback to know that you are locking in. From there the arm articulates up and out and the magnet is very strong to connect to whatever magsafe phone or phone case you have. I really like this product it's good value and solid construction. I don't feel like the hinges are going to start to sag or reduce in strength anytime soon. This will be a good device to have in my other car.

This is a nice, solid magnetic mount with suction cup. I was immediately suprised by it's heft, to the point where I actually was compelled to weigh it. I wish the seller would not use bizz words like tesla, i-phone, etc. This will work on any smooth surface, windshield, etc and is compatable with any mag safe phone or case. It grips glass well, grabs the phone solidly. My issue with this is for it's price point, most competitors offer wireless charging as well. Removed one star as it should be cheaper or offer wireless charging.
