The seller was prompt to answer my questions and absolutely determined to make my experience positive. It was conducted with the seller name "Ecotone Inc." Not sure how this relates to DWW, but the product works perfectly, just was not what I actually needed. This thing is genius. I have a small lamp in the hallway that just needed a tiny bit of a glow; even a 25 watt bulb was too much. Didn't even know they made such a thing but was wracking my brain on what I could do. So thankful I found these, and the price was right! As one reviewer mentioned, she also used a night light bulb in her table lamp. She's right, the tiny little bulb wants to sit a tad crooked in it, and because I'm always adjusting the "lean" of the clip on shade sitting down on the base now, the bulb wants to go out. I found a small beautiful tiffany style lamp at a thrift store but it only took regular style bulbs, like E26 base. I knew I didn't want that much light from it, but rather more like a nightlight. This made it easy to change it.

Candelabra CFLs are much more expensive and much harder to find than regular/medium base CFLs. Bought medium base good globe bulbs with a good, medium color temperature for my last apartment. My new apartment's bathroom takes 10 candelabra base globe bulbs. This is much cheaper than than buying 10 candelabra base bulbs, even before considering the wasted globes I already have. They also work in some antique lamps I have. Cool bulbs, like spun glow Westinghouse 03017 - 40C15/DECOR/A/CD Spun Glow Style Light Bulb , are cheaper in medium base, too. The previous reviewer's tip that the cardboard is removable was very helpful. ... show more

    • Allowed me to install Philips Hue smart/wireless bulbs in a Candelabra light fixture
Works as expected; I can adapt larger base (e26) bulbs into a candelabra wall fixture. Note your insurance company may take a dim view on all lightbulb adapters, so be smart how you use this (I wouldn't use this to power high-wattage bulbs). In my case I used it to install lower-wattage LED light bulbs, without having to replace the fixture (or buy candelabra LED bulbs that I really did not like). Be aware this adds length to the bulb so a large bulb may stick out of some fixtures. ... show more

Worked for my purpose. My kitchen lighting set came with candelabra bulb sockets. Besides using expensive candelabra CFL's, they burn out so quickly. I used this with daylight 6W LED's and wow, those 40W equivalent LED's are bright. Those blue glass outer covers rocks, and the daylight towards the table is bright! Bottom line is it worked well, and worked even better with LED bulbs. ... show more

This is the perfect way to change your fixture to use a different bulb size . I had a cool colored light and it was not the right size for my light set so I used this one to change it and was so easy to install , easy as screwing in a light bulb, and was able to convert it to fit the bulb perfectly .Very good Quality and does not change the look of your lighting fixctures. ... show more

I had a candelabra bulb stuck in the socket. It broke while trying to replace it. After taking the socket apart, I discovered the adapter inside. The replacement that I received was perfect. Now, I can see the light. Lol
