- Compatible with all data-bus controlled amplified systems, no matter the screen size (including the new 12" screen). To identify these systems, look for logos on door speakers, tweeters, dash speakers or the subwoofer to confirm if the vehicle has a compatible amplified system: Alpine, Beats or Harman Kardon. Some vehicles may not always have branded compatible systems. Unbranded amplified systems are generally identified by locating a center channel speaker or subwoofer.
- If you are installing the AmpPRO in a vehicle that is not equipped with a factory amplifier, you must add an amplifier to the vehicle's speakers, as the factory radio will no longer have a 4 channel variable output after it has been re-configured by the AmpPRO. For example, this will not work to add only a subwoofer to a non-amplified vehicle, as the radio will no longer power the cabin speakers properly.
- Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator: Compatible with all screen sizes (5, 7, and 8). All other models: Only compatible in vehicles equipped with the 7 or 8 screen. Vehicles equipped with the 5 screen are not compatible.
- Jeep Cherokee, Chrysler 200, and Maserati: These vehicles must be equipped with a factory amplifier as the AP4 cannot reprogram the factory radio to think that an amplifier is present.
- The following vehicles have an ANC module that needs to be bypassed: 2017-2019 Chrysler Pacifica 2015-2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2019 RAM Truck (Non-Classic)

This works for my 2015 Durango Citadel. This is a Nice plug and play option for factory screen . I hooked up aftermarket subs and amplifier . I kept my factory sub and amplifier. This incorporates everything perfectly. Pac is better than getting a cheap line out converter.

I had a 2016 charger for 3 years and really want to install the system I had from another vehicle but it just seemed like to many variables and I wasnt sure about the AP4 product. I recently got a 2017 charger 392 with the Beats system and it was just loud enough to remind me how much I missed my aftermarket system (which I actually sold a few months back). So I had an Amazon gift card and bit the bullet on this. What a great, great product. I got it installed and working in 30 min, another hour for my amp and speaker wiring. No whine, nice 5v output and everything from the stock sytem still works like nav and chimes. I suggest anyone thinking of buying one to absolutely buy it, ZERO complaints.

Complete POS. Does not work update the firmware, cannot set chime level, and sends not signal to amplifier. Complete garbage now I want a refund. UPDATE: after WEEKS of waiting refund was FINALLY issued. I sent it the defective item back in a timely manner, refund issued was anything but. Do yourselves a favor and procure this item locally if you need it.

I had a low level line converter, and thought that was the only option. I found this and asked alot of question $260 is alot for something if it doesn't out perform. Installation was quick, I did have a few question about Preout voltage and I went with the 4 volt (#2 dipswitch down) and you'll need to run a remote wire, I use the key on cigarette lighter line, and that was pretty much it. As for sound, I have the 8.4 AN with the 10 speaker alpine. I added a extra battery to power 2 ten inch sundown and 1000.1D CT sounds. The line level converter worked, but I didnt notice how much power I was missing until the amppro 4. Hands down much have for anyone with aftermarket amplifier.

This works perfect if you have a FULL system . Meaning highs , mids and subs . If you only added a sub or two . This is over kill for the price. Just get a cheap line out or lc2i style device for way cheaper and tap into a bass low output wire. This is easy to install just make sure to fully reset your cars electronics afterwards.

I love how this makes install SUPER easy. Runs my system great. It was installed in a 2019 Dodge Charger Hellcat with the crappy Alpine stock system. Made adding great sounding stereo easy. My only complaint, why one star is missing (and why it is no longer installed)- Somehow this adaptor disables the U-Connect/XM Guardian features of the car. I could no longer remote start, or locate the car from my phone or computer. EVERY other thing in the car worked as it should. I use my phone to pre start my car form work a lot, as I don't carry my keys with me while I work. so it was a deal breaker for me. I ended up with a Rockford Fosgate DSR1 which restored my phone abilities.
