Purchased this shower chair for my father-in-law who is quite prone to falling. He wasn't thrilled about us getting him a shower chair but over a very short period of time he came to love it. We've had it now for a couple of months and it has really been a life saver. It allows my father-in-law to shower independently and do so safely. The chair fit our standard bathtub and the suction cups on the feet stick to the tub extremely well. Because it secures to the tub so well it becomes helpful for him getting in and out of the tub easily and safely, too. We love that he can sit in the chair and use the shower hose to rinse himself, including accessing his bum. The chair was easy to put together and is very sturdy. It's also easy to clean which is needed from time to time due to accidents my father-in-law has. Great chair and well worth the price!!!

I'm 5'10 and 225 lbs and this chair works great for shower needs. Very well built and easy to assemble. If you have a wide bottom the armrests might be an issue but they are removable. Never at any point did I feel the chair was going to tip over and it's very well made. The height is adjustable and the chair is comfortable as well. Great purchase!

I ordered the MediGear because of its seat design. It provides for a sturdy chair with a cutout so that folks who cant move around very well can easily clean themselves. Unfortunately, I had to return it because even at the maximum height it was too short given the challenges my mother in law has in getting up.

I bought this chair for my wife who has a habit of falling down and hurting I’ll lay your foot something like that I like this chair very much it was fairly easy to put together I made one mistake it was easy to rectify the holes in the plastic needed to be rethreaded but you could have done without it plastic is hard to thread because it always threads under size all the parts were there it went together nice I’m very happy with it

Chair's feet are round. Can't be adjusted to fit tub. Seat is hard. Pitches the occupant forward. Causes her to slide off. No redeeming virtues. I'll be returning the chair today.

Very sturdy and solid. Really helps me with shower safety. The arms provide excellent support when rising There are holes built into seat, along with seat cut out design, to allow good flow of water for hygiene. However seat is a bit small with arms in place for al large person. Also areas under seat is hard to clean and dry off. Very glad I bought this item for safety.
