Debo comenzar diciendo que mi experiencia general con este equipo ha sido positiva. Durante los primeros meses de uso, la stump grinder cumplió perfectamente con su función. La utilicé aproximadamente entre 8 y 10 veces en troncos que no superaban las 12 pulgadas de circunferencia, siempre para trabajos ligeros. Es un equipo práctico, fácil de operar y muy conveniente para el tipo de trabajos para los que fue diseñado. Lamentablemente, en el último tronco que trabajé, el motor presentó una falla grave. A pesar de haber realizado todos los mantenimientos correspondientes, el pistón salió por la parte superior del motor mientras estaba en funcionamiento normal. Esto ocurrió en menos de un año de uso, lo cual fue inesperado. Quiero destacar de manera muy positiva la atención de la empresa. Desde el primer contacto fueron muy comunicativos, atentos y rápidos para responder. Reconocieron que el motor posiblemente presentaba un defecto de fábrica y, más allá de simplemente limitarse a la garantía, me ofrecieron soluciones que honestamente superaron lo que yo esperaba. Ese nivel de responsabilidad y disposición para ayudar marca una gran diferencia. Considerando que cuento con otras máquinas trituradoras de tocones de mayor tamaño y costo, este equipo me parecía —y sigue pareciéndome— una excelente opción por su precio y practicidad para trabajos ligeros. Aunque tuve este inconveniente puntual, valoro mucho la forma en que fue manejado por la empresa y la seriedad con la que tomaron el caso. No sé si mi situación haya sido un caso aislado, pero comparto mi experiencia de manera honesta para que sea útil a otros compradores. I purchased my stump grinder earlier this year, and it has surpassed my expectations. I bought the version with the Kohler engine. The swivel function is awesome, and was the main reason I bought this machine. It saves quite a bit of energy being able to park/brake and then unlock the swivel. I’ve used it to take out monstrous Oak Stumps, and if you are patient you can get it done. Takes out the small stumps and medium stumps very well. The big hardwood stumps are possible, just pace yourself. I am really happy with this purchase. After reading a review of someone having an issue with the less expensive version with the cheaper motor, I am glad I spent the extra on the Kohler engine powered version.
