I may update this if the problem is resolved. There is an electric starter but the wires dangle by the pull start. There is a battery but no wire to connect to it. There is an On/OFF/START switch but the plug just dangles under the handlebar. The whole electric harness is missing or is not right for this machine. Problem resolved. The wire harness was wrapped around the engine under the fuel tank. muffler, and air filter. I now need to start it to see how it runs I may update again if it works well. The manual says to fill out the warranty registration card but there isn't one. I'll see if that can happen on line. Was contacted by c MechMax they have a record of my purchase and say my warranty is good. In two evenings I ground 20 stumps. Some big, some small. It took a while to get use to but it does a good job. It's a little tough for this 75 year old but so far I've managed. Mowing the yard is going to be a bunch easier. ... show more

DON’T BUY this machine! Engine failed on fourth stump! After months of back and forth with the company I still have not been able to get this piece of junk returned and refunded. Too many details to write down! Please be very aware of this awful product and even worse company!

This is a very nice machine. The swivel feature makes it easier to operate. It is heavy, but is also powerful. I had an issue with mine but customer service quickly addressed it. They stand behind their product.
