The futon looks great and has a very thick cushion, that is a great support when used as a bed. I put a topper on it and a full size sheet that fit perfectly. This futon replaced a sofa bed that took up the whole room when opened. This futon gives my guests room to move without having to fold it up. The only negative so far is that it takes two people to drop the sofa to a bed and to get it back to a futon. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I don't often wrote reviews but I thought this one was a must. Everything was delivered when they said it would, it came in 2 shipments which wasn't clear but when I asked the seller they gave me the tracking information for the 2nd piece without a problem. We started to assemble the base only to realize we were sent the wrong size. I contacted the seller and to their credit they sent the correct size asap. Putting the base together there were plenty of issues. There are two straps stapled to the frame and both were attached on the wrong side of the board. So we had to remove and staple them in the correct location (pictures attached). We got the base together and realized it wouldn't stay in the seated position because the stickers indicating which side went which way were incorrect. We had to disassemble and reassemble correctly to get it to stay (see attached pictures). Once put together the mattress took some muscling to get it to stay. Overall: Pro: Customer service was responsive and quick to send out the correct product. Pro: The mattress is comfortable. Pro: Easy to follow instructions. Con: Parts put together incorrectly. Con: The pieces shipping separately weren't super clear on the outset. Con: Futon is easy to pull to a flat position but a bit of a pain to push back upright. So far it seems sturdy enough and comfortable but may be a bit pricy for what you get. ... show more

The futon frame seems sturdy and it was easy with 2 people assembling it. I am not crazy about the mattress. The fabric had some dirty spots and there is an odor that I am hoping will go away as the mattress airs out. The mattress seems comfortable though. Garbage. You cant close it by yourself. They sell it with the whole space saving angle, leaving people thinking maybe this is good for a smaller bedroom or studio apt. Nope. 1 person cannot operate this. It takes 2 people just to close it. The mattress is too thick and resists folding. The frame is weak. It doesnt close into couch position at all.
