I said to myself... ...hmm...sounds exactly like another one I just reviewed. Because it is. I didn't notice it at first, but that other brand, famous in the world of bodybuilding (selling for $12.00 less) says "powered by Mdrive" in two places on the bottle; so....same product, same exact ingredients/amounts of ingredients, same experience, so, very similar review.... Here's what I like about this supplement: instead of using saw palmetto, this one takes a completely different approach. I'm now, at that age where I have to stop drinking around 7 p.m. and eat "wet" vegetables/salads and soup, earlier in the day. Still, even with that, I'm finding myself getting up at night more than I want to. Since I haven't noticed any great difference with saw palmetto, this is a welcome alternative. I take many, supplements daily; athletic performance, general health, etc, so don't love adding yet another one, but here I go. These are a, on the smaller side of medium, clear veggie capsule, through which you can see a cranberry colored powder. We are instructed to take 2 with food, morning or afternoon. Just a heads up there: "morning or afternoon"...why would that be? Might be good to know; if I had to guess I'd say it has to do with the green coffee/green tea ingredients; again, just a guess. I find these easy to take with no offensive taste or odor when I put them in my mouth to swallow. I'm starting out by taking 1 in the afternoon to see what will happen. I will update this review after an appropriate test period to share my results. Until then.... I hope this review has been helpful and enables you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

Supplements are regulated like foods by the FDA, and claims regarding efficacy often aren't backed by science. So I don't review supplements based on those claims, and instead rate them based on ingredients, quality, value, and usage. Overall: 4 stars Some interesting ingredients, but the lack of Saw Palmetto and Lycopene, as well as the relatively high cost, will preclude me from replacing my regular prostate supplement Individual Ratings: INGREDIENTS: 4 stars Includes Cranberry, Boron, and Selenium, but also a proprietary blend. I dislike proprietary blends as you never know exactly how much of each ingredient you’re consuming (where I worked once a proprietary blend meant you’re consuming the cheapest combination of them). Also lacks Saw Palmetto and Lycopene, which I consider essential. QUALITY: 5 stars According to their website “Mdrive's manufacturing facilities are NSF certified to guarantee they follow all FDA Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs). Every batch of Mdrive is tested for identity, purity, strength, and composition, so we can be sure that what's on the label is what's in the capsules. We also test for heavy metals, microbes, allergens, and other contaminants.” No indication if that testing is done by a 3rd party. VALUE: 3 stars It’s a bit hard to compare the price given the unusual formulation, but this is about 7 times more expensive than the current high quality prostate supplement I’ve been taking for the last 6 years. Cranberry powder extract is primarily known for supporting urinary tract health and, of course, it is one of the main ingredients in this supplement. L-selenomethionine is one of the most bioavailable forms of selenium, meaning that it is easily absorbed and utilized by the body. Selenium is essential in supporting overall health including antioxidant defense, thyroid hormone metabolism, and immune function. This urinary tract health supplement bottle comes well-sealed. There is a noticeable smell of cranberry when you first open the bottle. The capsules are in an easy to swallow size with no bad aftertaste. Everyone should like cranberry anyway.

From everything I can tell, these Mdrive prostate health supplement capsules are great. They are vegan and gluten free, and contain good stuff to help support your prostate health. Upon opening the bottle, I noticed a strong cranberry smell. That's good, because these contain cranberry. While taking the capsules, you can also smell the cruciferous vegetables in the mix (broccoli/kale). They go down easy, and I have experienced no complications from them yet. I can't assess their long-term health benefits without more time, so I will update this review later if I can.

As with any supplements, my expectations is that they don't do anything. If I'm wrong, I'll be pleasantly surprised and will update my review. At the same time, I haven't had any adverse effects from the first few days. The pill is easy to swallow. It does have a light smell, which is maybe cranberry-like, that I find very pleasant. Pills came nicely sealed/packaged.
