This is one slick good looking comfortable chair that ships in two boxes. You might think one box holds the chair and the other holds the ottoman; not so. The parts for each, chair and ottoman are distributed between both boxes. One note worth mentioning which others have talked about -- no assembly instructions are included. I went to the Mcombo website and while they have instructions for everything from chicken coops to tents they didn't have instructions for this particular recliner model (as of 12/2020 anyway). They had something kinda sorta close, and between that, pictures on the shipping box and my "vast mechanical experience", I had the entire thing unboxed (two boxes) and assembled in a little under an hour. The hardware includes two hex wrenches and a flat steel 13mm wrench along with bolts and nuts. If you have a 13mm socket, I suggest breaking it out and using that instead of the little flat 13mm wrench. There are only two places you need that 13mm and that is for the two nuts and bolts that secure the back cushion to the base. Those nuts and bolts are an integral part of the preassembled reclining mech. I also put a small dab of lubriplate on those two bolts. Those two bolts are the only items I lubed. I would not suggest putting any lube on the rotating base or in the roller housings. If you do, that base and integral rollers are apt to gather dust and grit (especially if the chair is on a carpet which mine is) over time and muck up the works; clean and dry should work the best for that swivel assembly. Also, make sure all the screws on the roller housing for the swivel base are nice and tight The chair swivel base, seat cushion and recliner mech lever assembly are preassembled. One tip; as you begin to assemble the chair tighten all existing screws. By that, I mean the screws that are already in place such as frame screws, swivel base screws, and any that you come across that you didn't install yourself; most of them needed to be tighter and it's a lot easier doing this as you assemble the chair as you will have it in different positions which makes for easy access. As far as comfort goes, WOW! ... very nice. The vibrating feature is great with many choices, five intensity levels, and nine vibration patterns that pulse in various sequences and durations, to select from. Three separate sections vibrate. You can also overide the pattern selections and have one, two or all three vibrators be continuous. The picture does not do the Brown color justice. It is a rich chocolate color.

Outside box arrived broken but fortunately no damage inside. Installation instructions fairly straightforward and clear, but takes me >1 hr to complete. It’s better to have two person when connecting the back piece with chair foundation. Sit comfortably, however, the so called “massage “ is simple vibration here and there. Don’t expect too high. Everything works so far. Be aware that you can not just change your position from laying down to sit up without pulling the lever to unlock position. This is not what I expected from my previous swivel recliner.

I'm enjoying this chair, as it is comfortable to relax in. It seems to be well made. It does NOT swallow you up like the larger and more expensive chairs. I'm hoping the leather holds up for several years. It looks really good, but the price was very reasonable. It is exactly what I expected and I am pleased with it. My cousin put it together for me so I am unable to speak to the ease of assembly.

The recliner came missing parts it is missing the armrest iron sheets ... I would love to have the parts sent to me ... other than that it is a great chair ... massage works and it is comfortable..just needs the armrest iron sheets.. thank you

We purchased this chair for an elderly relative who was coming to stay with us for an extended period of time. Assembly was easy and it is a nice-looking chair. Unfortunately, the seat was too low for our relative to easily get into and out-of so we requested to return the item. We were also unable to get the vibrating mechanism to work. The company was kind enough to accept the return, so I give them a LOT of credit for being a very respectable organization. I would definitely do business with them again.

This chair came in multi parts. The first was cushions and box unusable. The last was ottoman/ recliner portion of chair. That box specifically said if returned the original box needed to be used. That box was so badly arrived , I had to use whole roll packing tape to keep it together and place 2 empty boxes for cushioning (I suspect lack of cushioning and handling was major reason for multi holes and tears in box). The company refused to send return label and informed customer had to pay for return. $200.00 later I am a little annoyed. Obviously company doesn’t stand by their product. As to the products functionality. It doesn’t look like the picture. With regards to recliner and chair very uncomfortable. It hurt my back. The massage portion isn’t massage , it vibrates. If I didn’t have to pay $200 to return. I would not have given a review (although truthful) regarding this chair. I still have to mail cushions.

Update 2: Received controllers, 1 works great, other one came cracked on the side and doors not work. Have asked seller to replace broken controller. Waiting to hear from seller. Update 1:The seller just reached out (within 24 hrs. Responding to my email). They're sending 2 new controllers asap. I had Conyers the seller about the connection from the chair to the controlers (the massage does not match up) thereforethis function was not working. . They are both different on both chairs (see pictures different pin and holes). We love these chairs. I ordered 2 for our motorhome. The instructions were clear to assemble. These chairs are so comfortable. My hubby took out the Jack knife couch out of it 43ft. Class C rv. and we replaced it with these chairs. I have contacted the seller, included pictures. They've not responded yet. Thus for the 3 stars only.
