  • Great value
Color: Dark Brown Size: Large
This is a very nice comfortable chair. The faux leather is beautiful, the functionality is exactly what they said it would be. The ease of assembly was great . It's a good value as I looked at a couple of furniture stores. What I paid for 2 wasn't as much as what they wanted for one.

  • Saved me thru Bilateral Total Knee Arthroplasty
Color: Navy Blue Size: Large
If you want a great power recliner, massager, and lift chair for less than the second mortgage required to purchase such a chair at Laz-y-Boy, then your search is done -period. Bought two blue pseudo leather recliners for my wife and and, hers sized for her 5’ frame and mine sized for my 6’2” frame. I just had simultaneous bilateral total knee replacement (I’m 55 - but the knees were shot!) and this chair has been my relaxing spot, my place to sit while running my ice machine, and ultimately the place I move to sleep after the discomfort of the bed position has woken me (around 4:30-5 am). The Chair is sturdy, but soft and so comfortable! Heat and massage on the left hand and movement controls on the right hand. Includes two cup holders and two USB B ports. Struggling for a fair complaint, the leg rest could be better padded, but I use a pillow on it…so! Had a small tear in the upholstery on my wife’s model and a quick call got us a replacement arm in less than a week - Excellent Customer Service! I suppose overal durability and wear and tear will require a future update, but for now, for us……best purchase in a while! ... show more

  • After only a week, we are very pleased with this chair
Color: Black Size: Large
First of all, know that the box that the base comes in is HEAVY. Fortunately, I have a dolly and straps so I was able to wrestle the box onto the dolly and secure it so I could move it. That was the only way I could get it from my driveway to my front stoop. Then I had to tip the box up and onto the stoop, and repeat into my front door. THIS WAS NOT EASY. I did it, but I would not recommend assuming that it will be easy to get into the house or up stairs without help. The other two boxes are large but not heavy. Once everything was in my living room, right inside the front door, I was able to carefully unbox the parts and assemble the chair without any issue. Once assembled, the chair itself is fairly light for its size and easy to move into place. Why I chose THIS chair: -Mcombo consistently gets high reviews over other sites I have researched, -Dual motor, infinite positioning, including feet above head, and LIFT -Extended footrest allows a chair to be comfortable for a taller person without going to a supersized behemoth of a chair -No overstuffed headrest to push ones head forward -OK looking (none of these type chairs are attractive to my taste) -Simple controls and Home button to simply reset chair to base position -Massage and lumbar heat I purchased a 3 year insurance plan so should anything fail, I shouldn't have to go through too much aggravation to get it resolved. My 80 year old husband has crippling arthritis in his knees and limited mobility. He needs help getting to standing from a soft chair or sofa. So, the Lift takes care of that. He has dementia, so he needs simple controls that do not need to be explained over and over. Once he is planted in his Throne he doesn't move around much except to go tho the bathroom. The controls that position the chair are visual icons that are LIT UP (Thank You!) and the HOME button is in the middle. Easy for him to see and figure out! While the massage function is not very robust, it is helpful with stimulating circulation and easing stiffness for one who is sitting for long periods. He is always cold so the lumbar heat is just enough to be cozy with out overheating. And I don't have to worry that it will just stay on and cook him, LOL! If you need truly therapeutic heat, you would want a separate heating pad anyway, an easy fix. There are pockets on each side of the arm panels as well as little pockets on the front of the arms. The remote cords hang through loops sewn under the arms so even if he drops the remote it is easy to retrieve. The USB plugs are great to have easy access for charging his phone. Cup holders are OK too. All these features mean I don't have to surround the chair with a bunch of tables to hold every cup and gadget, nor have cords draped all over. The details of this chair seem well thought out and I appreciate that. Some reviewers complain that these chairs move very slowly. It does. But that is a safety feature. I watched my husband figuring out the unfamiliar cycles of motion that the chair goes through and the lift, etc, and had it gone faster I think it would have been anxiety provoking for him. This does not feel like it is going to get away from him or "dump him out." So remember, reviewers, these are primarily designed for mobility impaired individuals who have a different vulnerability threshold than able bodied folks. The mechanism is smooth for the most part and the massage is pretty quiet. My Long Term Concerns are that the padding and seat will flatten out. About the only thing I could find in my research that differentiated high end dual motor lift chairs, such as Barcalounger, from these Amazon chairs is that the Barcaloungers, etc, have innerspring seats, like a mattress. Good quality furniture at that price better have that! However, for my needs this chair is not going to get a ton of wear and tear, my husband is under 200lbs, and the chair is not destined to be a family heirloom. If I get a solid 5 years I will be pleased. That being said, I did purchase the Assurion 3 year warranty for an extra hundred bucks to cover any failure. I plan to keep it covered to protect the faux leather upholstery and for hygiene purposes. So far, so good. I will let you all know if anything changes. ... show more

  • Update: HORRIBLE CHAIR
REVIEW AS OF 1-12-2024. I've done many hours of research, both in stores and online, for a decent Power Recliner. I have a few needs. God deemed it necessary to let me be born a hunchback. Had it all my life and it makes getting the perfect chair even harder. Lumbar along with perfect mix of plushness and support is a must. Also, I'm about to have SLAP tear surgery on my shoulder in a couple weeks which is a no no for side sleepers like myself. I'm gonna have to be in a sling for a few months and have to sleep on my back (very painful in my case) and the only way I can manage this is if I'm in a recliner. Unfortunately the shoulder I'm having surgery on is my right shoulder. Can you guess which is the only side the handles are attached on literally EVERY RECLINER? Another issue to be mindful of when looking for one I'll be able to use after surgery. Hence, the powered ones are a must. So...all this led me to this one by Mcombo. I received it today. Everything came in perfect shape and works like a charm. Let me just say that, for me and all my needs, this chair is a GODSEND. It's super comfy in all the right places. Support where I need it but soft enough to sleep like a baby in. The massage is a plus! Didn't think I'd use that feature but I leaned back , turned it on, and almost passed out before picking my daughter up from school! Lol. I will update this review in a few months. SO FAR SO GOOD! UPDATE: Horrible chair. I understand I used it more often than most would because of a surgery, but....for $800 this thing should have been built way better than it is. There is a VERY NOTICABLE indentation in the seat now. I can feel the heating wires in my back now because the cushion is ALL gone. I can't even sit in it anymore because it is painful. DO NOT BUY FOR YOUR ELDERLY. It may be comfortable at first but it takes no time for the cushion to wear thin and to be completely uncomfortable. If you bought this for your elderly parents or grandparents, even if they don't speak up, I promise you they're uncomfortable after a while. DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR. ... show more

  • Second chair from MCombo - great experiences, great chairs!
I upgraded my earlier MCombo recliner with remote control/heat/vibration/USB ports to this one, which has dual motors and reclines more. It came promptly and I easily put it together but once everything was connected - no power to the chair! MCombo promptly sent out a new power supply w/connecting cord and all is well. Plus, I now have an extra set of controls if I ever need them :-) I loved the other chair pretty much to death. I've had several joint replacements, had my shoulder rebuilt, and have a bad back. During all these things, there were times when I could only sleep in my recliner and times when I needed to elevate my legs. This new recliner is much more comfortable, I love that the recline and footrest features can be controlled separately, I love the recline angle, the heat/vibration (yes, you can operate them separately, just press the individual vibration buttons to turn all of them off, and press the heat button to turn it on). MCombo's customer service is excellent. I'd buy this chair again. ... show more

  • Best of the best
Color: Black Size: Large-Oversize
I have owned this recliner for almost six months. I love this chair. I’m 6.2” and 270 pounds. I’m retired with cancer so I sit in it 12+ hours per day. When laid back it very comfortable for a nap. The extended foot rest, that folds away when in chair position, means my feet don’t hang off the end. Two motors control the backrest and the recliner. You have endless settings to be comfortable. The best part of that feature is you can put the back all the way back and raise the chair to the standing position, without the backrest pushing you out of the chair. That’s exactly what happens with single motor function lift chairs. ... show more

  • Did not work,
Color: Navy Blue Size: Large
After complete assembly the back recline only worked. The foot rest and lift extension did not work. Only a faint beep came from the chair. After laying the chair on its side I found the "main motor" lead (with red tape tracker) was not connected to the black plastic electrical lead box. This took 2 attempts to connect fully and securely, a rather flimsy connection. The lead receptacle on the black box also had red debris on the surface. ( like a red china marker) I was concerned that this was a rework mark and red tape tracker from the factory. After the correction the chair functioned fine , so far. The assembly was easy and good. Most electrical connections were good except the two prong power /usb connections which connect but seem flimsy. The appearance is very good. The chair functions as described and lays nearly flat if desired. Would have been 5 stars; the chair clearly did not work when it left the factory, nor final check prior to shipment. If received by customers who expects it to work without troubleshooting it would have been a failure and a cumbersome return. Leaving a three star was gracious since turning an inoperative chair into a functional chair that looks good was achieved. ... show more
