Purchased it on May 7, 2020. It's now March 28, 2021 and it has held up well. I used two sheets horizontally side by side as the background of a 40 gallon terrarium. Doesn't reach the top (height) of the terrarium but it does reach the width of it. I used a glue gun to glue it to the glass. So far no problems.

Our tortoise is in a unique situation (yes she uses the dog door) and normally picks a corner to sleep so we were trying a few things to make her comfortable, but she spent an hour kicking it out. (Yes that is a bread box she is using for a cave.) With that said, I am pleased with the coconut sheets and will repurpose for something else, we were trying something new and she let us know her opinion. I know others said their was an odor, but I did not think it was bad - I mean it smells natural and slight earthy. This is the same material used for plant baskets and as far as absorbancy it's shredded coconut husks - it will hold back moisture to a point, but not absorb like cotton.

I got this for my bearded dragon’s tank, I can’t say he loves it but he seems to not mind (which is great because I want him to be as comfortable as possible). It looks good, it was pretty easy to cut and fit into the terrarium. (I have a 40 gallon tank, it took one and a half sheets, plus a little side trimming. This just really brought everything together in his tank. No smells or anything, i love it and will definitely buy again

The media could not be loaded. I Used both carpets for my sulcatas cage. This carpet is super easy to clean, use a litte bit of dawn dish soap and a carpet scrubber and once it's rinsed off and air dried it looks brand new, has overall great thickness to it, no ugly smells and dries fairly fast under the sun 😁 great carpet will be repurchasing in the future 🥰

The two things that I do not like are enough for me not to buy again: 1.(strongest criticism) The scent is more like an unpleasant smelling cologne when I would have thought it would have been scent-less! And it permeates my entire living room where my tortoise's habitat is set up. Friends commented on the smell and I had to open the windows! in 20 degree outside temp!! 2.(not as important as #1) It absorbs if the liquid drops directly onto it. My tortoise peed along the border and it was NOT absorbed at all! I was able to rinse the material which I appreciate.

I purchased two brands at the same time to see if i liked oe better than the other. They were so similar if I hadn't purchased both at the same time for comparison, I would not have noticed a difference. This one is a wee bit softer than the other one, but that's it. For .40 cents more...your call. We were using wood chips for our leopard gecko. This is so much better. Sometimes when she was trying to catch a cricket and she would end up eating the wood chips..so frustrating. Also, there were times when the crickets were very difficult to see..not anymore. It is soft and looks nice. Our leopard gecko has a big smile on her face now...ok, she always does, but I can tell she is happier and so are we.
