Unfortunately I got a defective sewing machine it won't lock in, it will sew, it doesn't tie off at the end. Ugh three machines later still can't find one to work. I had high hopes for this one. The packaging was damaged so I think it's a factory defect is all. Will see will have to send it back, I like that you can also plug it in awesome feature, cords not long enough but I like it. And it takes batter,it came with a USB cable no box but that's fine, came with everything you need to sew properly all the extra bobbins, scissors, extra sewing needle heads, nice kit I just got a bad seed. ... show more

I gave it 5 stars because price is good and it is well made. But as for using it . It’s not for me I ended up sewing on the labels by hand because my to my chagrin I am a techtard! But to be fair I did not have the time to practice and read and reread the directions! If you are a seamstress or know the ins and outs of sewing this will work for you and when I’ve got the time to sit and play with it I’m sure I will not regret the buy, but Mama ain’t got the time write now but never know there just might be an update! ... show more

It works fine with the power but will not work with batteries, think it is a poor connection at the top when you close the lid.
