I had TKR Total Knee Replacement surgery and this chair has literally changed my entire recovery. I slept in it the first couple nights cause it’s very hard to get comfortable after this surgery. But this chair works so well and can be in so many different positions that I was able to comfortably sleep several nights. I use it for icing, elevating, napping, and just generally keeping myself comfortable while recovering. It came in four boxes. One of them was heavy, but everything went together very easily. Our daughter bought one of these recliners for her golden aged dad recovering from a knee replacement. He sleeps comfortably in it. I (75 yr old wife) used it when he was in the hospital and loved it so much, I too slept in it all night Only difference is I used the massage feature and even tried the heat feature out once too. The massage is more like a vibration than a slap/knock massage--it put me to sleep easily. The chair came in 3 heavy boxes which our adult grandson brought in and easily put together. We are moving soon and I ordered a 2nd matching recliner shipped there to match this one. Unfortunately, I made a mistake & ordered 2 recliners for our new place and now had 3. MCombo customer service quicky worked to show me how to return one of the 2 new ones for shipping. Then they made me an even better offer--they would refund me a % of the recliner cost and I could keep both recliners and do what I wanted with 3 of them. I jumped at that deal. Let’s start w/ the pros—it works. It was easy to assemble. It’s a beautiful color. Plenty of seat space. Now some cons—the cupholder placement is awkward & poorly designed. The armrests are very short, in order to accommodate the cupholders, so, I either have to always have my arms bent, or my hands dangling over the end of the armrest, into the drink holder..or the drink itself. I got the “med” size range—for heights of 5’4” to (I think) 5’10”. I’m 5’2” & the chair seat depth & foot rest are almost too short for me—I’d think this would be very uncomfortable for someone 5’9”. And the photo is quite deceiving as far as the fabric goes. In the picture the fabric appears to be the tweedy tough textured fabric you often see in furniture-very sturdy durable looking. The fabric is actually little tufts of fur like stuff w/ a pattern pressed into it. I did not see the chair until my husband & son had it put together & in place. Had I seen the fabric & the cup-holder/arm rest things before they had it put together, I might have sent it back. But once it was all set up, I thought I’d better try it. And when I expressed some issues I was having w/ the design, my “assembly team” was less than pleased at the thought of having to ship the chair back. So, I’m trying to “adjust” & make the best of it. It’s not all bad, as I said, but I’m having to be creative to make it comfortable. It does function well, as far as the lift feature/mechanics, but I learned a lot about “buying w/o trying”. I really didn’t have a choice, as injuries have me completely incapacitated right now & my old chair finally gave out. So, I researched….and I made my decision based on the details “as they were presented”.. It’s an ok chair, if you are not set on certain things. We bought this chair several years ago and it started having mechanical issues. Since my husband uses it as a bed we decided to buy a new one for him. This one is better than the first once, came in three days, I paid two college students to assemble it, which was easy for them following the YouTube video. We are so grateful for the controls. It also has massage and heat, cup holders, usb port for a cell phone, all helpful to my husband who has Parkinson’s and sits in the chair almost 24/7. This newer version has more cushioned padding, is a bit taller, just is awesome with the extended foot rest for my tall bigger man. I bought two recliner covers do I don’t have to clean the chair, just the covers when his incontinence kicks in (I also use pads for him to sit on). I'm writing this review after owning this chair since 2023. I LOVE it! I've had it since I had a major surgery and needed it to help me go from sitting to standing and as a place to sleep during my recovery. Ever since then, this chair has been my best friend! I've watched tv in it, played video games in it, and enjoy it on nights when my bed just isn't getting me to sleep. The vibration functions still work very well, though the one at the feet has shifted over time. That and the heat are my favorite features. I also love the big pillowy arms, seat, and back that make napping in it enjoyable! The chair features a deep, zero-gravity recline feature that you will love so much for lazy days or when you're supposed to be "watching a movie together" but you're actually just going to sleep through it. The tilt is wonderful and takes you from sit to stand at a nice, slow and steady pace. The chair is a solid and sturdy piece of furniture and the fact that it has lasted me this long is entirely impressive! I never imagined it would have held up this long without any issues, but it surprises me every day! I have the terry/suede material version and it is so soft, comfy, and easy to clean. I tend to use the cup holders for storing my remote and there are side storage pockets for the two control remotes used for the massage and lift/tilt functions. This is just a great chair! This is the 1st review of an item I’ve ever written. I appreciate other reviews so here goes. My chair was delivered to the wrong address. Luckily the neighbor down the street knew me and carted it up the street to my house. The boxes were in bad shape. Both had tears and big dent marks on them. I was so glad that inside the recliner was still in good shape. As for the recliner it self, I bought the small as I am 5’1” and 115 #. My husband was able to put it together in about 20 minutes. The directions were easy to understand. When sitting my 1st impression was that it was rather firm but still ok. When in the zero gravity position it is very comfortable and I will be using it for recovering after surgery. The heat option seems to get warmer at the very base of my spine which can be uncomfortable. The movements seem very slow but this is my first experience with an electronic recliner so maybe that’s normal. My husband who is 5’10” and 210# says he finds it very comfortable.
