We were looking for a tripod chain pipe vice in our area and could not find any. I was able to go on Amazon and find this one that was nearly half the price as a Rigid, but I decided to try it and see if it was the same quality. I could tell no difference in it other than the name on the base. It was excellent quality, excellently priced and as with most of Amazon stuff, was delivered the next day. Haven't used this yet but did get it assembled with a lot more effort than it should have. Biggest issue was red locking leg slider did not fit on leg, had to use die grinder to remove a lot of material to get it to slide over leg. No instructions or even a picture to help insure correct assembly alignment. One leg had a damaged rubber anti slide grommet, most of the feature that holds rubber foot on leg was brocken off, chunk fell out of packaging when i unboxed unit. Bolts had some pretty bad burs on threads, almost sliced my thumb on them. Hoping unit functions and holds up ok once i use it. ... show more
