Very easy to insert and remove. Not the most stable, I have an adjustable base bed so nothing to anchor it to. I simply attached the end to another with a bungee cord and it's not going anywhere. Easy to raise up and down. Sits below the mattress when down so it's out of the way, when getting in and out of bed. I ordered this to use in the bunk room of our camper, and it worked out perfectly. Our youngest child got upgraded from the pack-n-play to a bunk bed, and this rail turned the bottom bunk into a crib/toddler bed. It was easy to put together. I also liked that it has the option to be screwed on to the base of the bed to make it extra sturdy. The buttons make a loud “click” when raising the rail which can wake a sleeping child; however, if you press the buttons as you raise the bar, it won’t make a sound. Disclaimer: the manual specifically warns against using on a bunk bed, in place of a crib, or for a child who cannot exit the bed on their own. I used my own judgement as a parent, and used it this way regardless.

The recommended dimensions were spot on. Purchased the end of the bed rail after realizing having the sides only helps so much lol. When we purchased the sizes, it came with the corner caps to connect multiple. Unfortunately, I threw them away as I didn't need them at the time. When I purchased this one, it was missing one of the corner caps. Without them, the stability isn't safe at all. However, adding a simple strap to connect them, works fine. I washed them when I first took them out of the box and hung them to dry. Even actuating them every day, and washing them multiple times, they seem to be holding up great! The fabric quality is better than expected. Lastly, the safety. They seem very safe if installed properly. They are quite tight when properly installed and in the full up position. I trust them with my one-year-old standing up against them and shaking them like there's no tomorrow! My only gripe is they should only be used with a mattress on frame design. We have a mattress on box spring and I had to use 1x6 boards to make a makeshift frame for the rail brackets to screw to. Definitely made installation a little tougher than expected, but nothing a little handy work can't fix. All in all 4 out of 5!

These have neat little locks on the buttons that really make it baby proof. I bought 3 for my king size bed and absolutely love it! Definitely helps us sleep better at night. Some reviews complained about sturdiness but i honestly don’t have that issue, plus for extra support we just used little zip ties and it helps in the corners!

I originally bought just two sides for my king size bed but the rails were very Unsturdy with only two rails so I bought the last rail. This rail only lasted a couple months. As it progressively got harder and harder to slide down. Yesterday I was carefully trying to lower it to grab my son out of bed in the morning and the whole metal pole snapped! 🤯THANK GOD IT HAPPENED WILE MY SON WAS SLEEPING AND NOT WILE HE WAS AWAKE OR LEANING ON IT. It could have been really bad because my bed is pretty high off of the ground. The whole reason why I purchased the whole set, was to have a safe sleeping space for my son. $200+ wasted on this pile of junk. DO NOT TRUST THIS FOR YOUR CHILDREN!

I'm really torn on this one. 1) All sizes listed show photos of multiple sides of bed being covered. I bought one side for a twin bed to test, only to find that there is no listing of one small enough for the foot of a twin bed. The side came with the clips to connect the side to ends, but they don't sell ends? 2) There is no way to contact the seller, I can't find a website or Facebook for them to clarify if I'm missing something or if there truly is no size for the foot of a twin size bed. 3) Instructions suck. The last instruction is to "snap into place" when there isn't a single thing in the photo for that step that snaps. We ended up screwing it into the bed frame because we couldn't figure out how to keep it in place sturdily even with the instructions. (With the leg under the mattress it was still quite floppy.) 4) Screwed in, it is very sturdy. I love that it slides up and down instead of folding or not moving at all, and I love that I could adjust it high enough to make it super safe for my handicapped toddler. 5) It is a little hard to slide up and lock, but I think that's because the upright supports aren't perfectly placed. That would probably be solved by adding another one to the head or foot, but again, they apparently don't make one that size for a twin bed, so we can't do that. In summary, it's better than the others I've seen, it's better than screwing 2 x 2s in to make our own safety railing. But we'll have to build our own for the foot of the bed anyway since they apparently don't make one.

I purchased these to use while my dog is recovering from surgery, and can't be jumping on and off the bed during the night. The rails were easy to assemble and install. However, I did not utilize the straps to secure it to the bed frame, which I would definitely do if I were using these with a baby/child. As they are, they're not sturdy enough that I'd use them with a baby, but they're perfect for keeping my 12lb dog on the bed.

I’ve never owned these before but they look great once assembled. The sizes I bought were perfect, definitely works for the full size bed. I bought them specifically for my sister because our cat keeps getting on her bed and she had to use jugs and other stuff to prevent him from getting on, hopefully these rails work like they should and helps her sleep better at night. So far really good quality and yeah, hopefully I’m not jinxing myself but I hope this thing lasts for a long time, if the cat doesn’t climb on the netting lol
