Tried this because my simple Human one with verbal ability quit working and I could not find another one like it... I should have returned this the 1st time I took a bog out and it got stuck on the inward rolled edge and ripped the bag. HATE it. AND you have to take the lid and an insert off to get the bag out. Just a BAD design.

I love this trash can. I have had this trash can for about a year now and just had to change the batteries. everything is working just as it was the first day. I love the style and everything about this trash can BUT the motion detection is really sensitive. I have a cut out under my counter top to slide a trash can into. It fits perfectly. But there is about 12 inch from the top of the trash can to the counter tops and if I slide it (flush) the trash can will stay open because it thinks it's being activated. also it is in a high traffic area so it is always opening it someone eve reaches over the counter top.

Terrible design. The top of the can has a lip that is curved inward. Perfect for catching and tearing the bag when trying to remove it. It also makes it extremely difficult to get the bag out period. My husband lost it and threw this poorly designed trash can in the trash. How ironic.
