The media could not be loaded. I was skeptical about using this product, mostly because I was about to take on a project I haven’t done with this design before. But I’m glad I bought it. I purchased 5 of these for my Pergola. After locating the rafters on my roof, I lag screwed these to the roof rafters (used my own hardware). I applied a waterproof sealant under and around where the brackets where mounting too. Zero complaints and everything turned out great! Edit.     • Easy to use/install. Hopefully sturdy.
The media could not be loaded. We don’t have the complete Pergola installed yet but very easy to install the support brackets. The hardest part is locating the rafters in the roof to make sure that you bought them in to something sturdy. We will update when we are completed with our installation.

Just received them and they seem good. I have not installed them yet. I will try to update the review after installation. They are very slightly magnetic, which is common for cold worked 304 stainless. I may replace the hex head screws with stainless ones so that I don't have to worry about anything rusting, since they will live outdoors on the roof. ... show more

Good packaging but there is a major flow with this product - it just cannot be tightened - we used two bog wrenches and tightened it really hard but it will still somewhat easily moves if you pull the beam. I'll need to figure out a way to lock it in place - looks like I'll need to add a perpendicular support arm ... show more
