I've used different name brands in the past. They pretty much work all the same! READ THE DIRECTIONS!! If you don't get a good fit the first time then start all over! If your mouth is smaller you can trim the mouth guard! Don't make is so difficult! And obviously it's annoying sleeping with this stuff in your mouth! But there are always pros and cons. Trust me I stopped using these for a long time and I have so many cracks that even fine are costing me money. Plus the jaw pain the worn down teeth and sharp teeth. It took me a couple tries to mold and fit my first one but I got the hang of it. I usually will mold a couple in case I misplace one. these guards are easy to form and use they are pretty comfortable and stop me from grinding my teeth they are fairly thick I don't think they could be thicker without being uncomfortable .

    • These are great, guaranteed, and with a trick I learned, I'll never use another kind of mouthguard!
I grind and clench my teeth VERY hard while I sleep and often wake up with a sore jaw or migraines, but not anymore. This is not the first Dentek mouthguard kit I've bought. I bought another one maybe six months ago and loved it but I had to have a tooth removed and it no longer fit me. So I bought this one and figured out the best trick to get it to have a tight fit: In the molding process when you bite down after it has been heated, use your tongue to press on the back of the holder and your fingers to push on the outer/front part. I made this one on my first try and am SO happy with the fit. Also, the quality is fantastic. Even after months of using it every night with my severe clenching and grinding, I still haven't managed to bite through it. I think because there is a harder plastic on the bottom beneath the rubber but whatever the reason, it works SO good. I will never buy another mouth guard and highly recommend this one to anyone who has clenching and/or grinding issues. ... show more

    • Easy to use, less expensive than the dentist
I had a professionally made bruxism guard and lost it traveling back-and-forth to the hospital. When my husband was in cancer treatment this has been a great economical replacement. The instructions are clear and simple. If I don’t get the fit right, the first time I can do it again at least once. my daughter-in-law uses them As well, my dentist said they are great replacement at least temporarily until I can afford a custom guard again. My bf grinds his teeth at night, it seems as though we’ve tried every night guard in the market. These dental night guards are the most comfortable for him, stay in all night, and significantly help the headache and pain grinding causes. Added plus, the 3 pack is a great deal! 10/10

    • Useless
Too big, bulky, unable to close mouth when using which brings on whole new set of problems. Difficult to form to teeth, fell out within 5 minutes of use. Unable to return even though bought through prime and says returnable. I now have useless product, wasted money.

So far i've gone through six from here and in stores, and about 84 days is the average time they stay together in my experience. They are super easy to fit with a mirror and stay in all night.
