I did not realize that I would need to assemble the lamp shade. FYI; the lamp shade comes in 3 pieces. 2 round pieces and the shade part that is in a roll. The 2 metal rings have velcro on the outside of them and the fabric has velcro on the inside edges. Now, either they gave me a bottom ring that was too small or they gave me a miss measured piece of fabric. Either way, it doesn't look right. I had to ruffle the bottom edge of the lamp shade to make it look remotely okay. ... show more

It’s a cute enough lamp, sturdy. Fits my needs. But the box it was packaged in was flimsy and the styrofoam was so brittle I couldn’t get it out of the box without little tiny beads of white all over my house. Very hard to get the joints to screw together. And even though it's supposed to be a 3 way lamp, it wouldn't work with a 3 way bulb. They give a number to call for help, but it's fake. No one answers. Not impressed.

I bought the lamp to brighten a dark corner in my office waiting room. I will either find another use for it or return it. It has a very glossy finish that I don't care for, just a matter of personal taste. I think it needs a white shade rather than oatmeal for better light, again a personal preference issue and not a comment on the quality. It assembled easily and was packed well (not sure how I would re-pack it for returning it). The base feels solid and is adequately heavy. The stem part is in several sections that screw together, and I hope they stay tight. It is good for what it is, an inexpensive lamp that looks like one. ... show more
