I use this with my 2023 ASUS G14 over HDMI and it works pretty well at 1440P 144hz, but my issue with it is it doesn’t support HDMI 2.1 so you can’t use G-SYNC or 170HZ without Display Port. Colors are good, gets bright, HDR looks cool, size is perfect, build quality and unboxing is amazing, accessories included are great Will update and see if a USB C to display cable fixes this issue. Will say, if you want to use a laptop as a desktop, I hook it up to the monitor and plug in my VR and neither have any latency or artifacts. ... show more

I LOVE this monitor. It is now my primary monitor with the old Predator monitor taking a sideline as a display. Not saying the Predator is bad (it is great on a budget), but this monitor just blew away my expectations and is just an upgrade all around. Sound quality is great, picture is amazing, lag is not an issue, the eye strain reduction is already noticeable after a few weeks. Packaging was very well done, shipped fast, great construction, easy for follow set up instructions, BEAUTIFUL design, and the backlight is just icing on the cake. ASUS truly knows how to make a good monitor. After over 10 years using an older ASUS 1080p 60Hz 1ms-delay screen, I decided to upgrade to this one. Honestly, coming from a 1440p 27” LG monitor with 160Hz refresh these aren’t that crazy comparatively. I notice a slight difference, but nothing I would pay $100 more a monitor for. That being said, I think they’re a fairly priced monitor, and they’re both nice. I just don’t see the purpose in spending the extra money personally. Reviewing model: XG27ACS Pros - Great brightness level - Great color range - Text looks sharp - Fast 180hz panel, smooth scrolling and gaming movement Cons - IPS screen limitation, so there's a bit of light bleed of the top, you can only see it at fully black screen test. I think it's the least amount of light bleed comparing to other IPS panel I've used. - On my panel, the screen is dimmer as you look from center screen going downward. So, looking at the bottom windows taskbar is dimmer, while looking at the browser tab headers at the top screen looks brighter. My previous panel brightness is more even from top to bottom. So, I think this is up to IPS panel lottery. Overall, I think it's a a good quality panel. It also has great default config out of the box, meaning default setting should have great text clarity and color. The only thing I need to adjust is the brightness level. ... show more

This monitor is absolutely amazing!!! I looked thoroughly through reviews of many ultrawides and pulled the trigger. Got it used for like 200$ cheaper and in great condition. Colors are vibrant as hell and image clarity is perfect. Makes the graphics in game look crispier than my previous monitor odyssey g7 32 in. Although that was VA and this is IPS I will say contrast is lacking but to be expected and tbh I was regretting getting IPS and almost changed for a VA ultrawide but take some time and let your eyes get used to it and you will appreciate it for what it is trust me! Never will I return...takes a tiny learning curve as you get in the new habits of arranging screens, but absolutely wonderful...no more stupid dragging windows back and forth and hoping your dual screens line up with your OS, yes mac users too. windows 11 is superb with layouts now, snaps to your choice in seconds. The screen is crazy quality - i use the dimmer sRGB mode for everything, though it's capable of being brighter than the sun itself. worth every penny and my eyes are NEVER strained ... show more

I really love Asus products. Had an MSI monitor for a long time it was also curved but wanted to go back to a flat panel and saw this one and had to grab it. It was also on sale so yeah. Colors are very vibrant and clear and in depth and very detailed. Cyberpunk 2077 is amazing on this monitor and so is Star Wars and Fallout. Love the features to that it offers as well just takes time getting everything set to where you want them. Plus my phones camera can't capture the true beauty of the picture quality of this monitor ... show more
