I love these barstools. They look great by our island. My husband had no issues with assembly. The seller was quick to respond when I had a question about shipping. It was very easy to put together, I go suggest using glue or a stronger glue, its very sturdy, but the seat is very hard. Its like sitting on a wooden bench.

The seat is beautiful, high quality fabric, decorative nails are nice quality and the wood has a nice finish. However 1 of the bottom rungs was cut with the wrong angle. I actually build furniture as a hobby and was frustrated with the assembly. The instructions said the top seat was A in the instructions but 2 of the legs had A stickers and 2 had B stickers. The legs were not labeled as BR BL, like the instructions say. The 2 part "D" pieces should have had the same angle cut, allowing the pocket holes to be on the bottom. 1 of mine had to be installed upside down to get the correct angle on the leg. That means the pocket holes show on top. Super frustrating to pay $99 for a chair and have a piece manufactured incorrectly. I am only using 1 chair at my small island so I will just deal with the incorrect piece installed upside down. The top seat did attach nicely with all of the screw lining up very well. That being said, buyer beware...there aren't many reviews on this product so cross your fingers you get correctly cut parts. ... show more

These stools, assembled, are beautiful. But what a nightmare the assembly was. My husband had an awful time trying to screw the provided screws into the stools. Also, there is far from enough wood glue provided. We had to purchase some to use, which was definitely necessary as the screws didn’t seem to fit properly. They boast a website with a video tutorial- that only says “coming soon”. I’ll come back to review after a year to see how they’ve held together. ... show more
