Like the design and quality of the product. I have built furniture in the past so assembly was not an issue. Fit and finish was good but not great. I wood glued all joints (glue not provided) and clamped as I screwed together. Still a few slight gaps where crossmembers went into legs but not bad. Stool is sturdy and looks nice. Only reason not 5 star is fit. I’m not sure average person assembling would get same results. But overall would buy again ... show more

I knew I wanted to upgrade my counter stools before the holidays to something that was more comfortable for sitting and chatting at the counter for hours while we cooked dinner, drank wine, and played games. I was not only satisfied but surprised by these stools, here’s why: QUALITY + SHIPPING TIME Most of my furniture is RH or Arhaus, but the prices and shipping times have gone past my limit. That’s why I set out to find pieces that have a similar feel and quality with shorter shipping times and more reasonable prices. I found Maven Lane and decided to try their barstools - I was SHOCKED that these stools felt identical in value to my other pieces that cost 3-4x this amount. And rather than waiting months for the styles I wanted, they got here within 2 days. DESIGN QUALITIES THAT ARE IMPORTANT TO ME - Supportive cushions that are comfortable to sit on for hours - Real textured wood that looks and feels expensive, and craftsman details that make them feel handmade - Vegan leather that is not only more ethically sourced that animal leathers, but a more consistent finish so all of my stools match perfectly, and are more resilient for kids and pets For the price, you absolutely cannot do better than these stools. I didn’t know I could get furniture of this quality from Amazon, but they have far exceeded my expectations.
